Zoey POV
I woke up and saw that Jesse was not here. I wonder where he could be. Then I remembered today was two days before wedding. The past two weeks went by fast. Christian, Rose, Dimitri, and Adrian left earlier this week to stake out Jesse's sister, Amberle. They hadn't returned yet, which scared the hell out of me. Sydney was fixing breakfast when I came out of the hall.
"Hey," I said.
"Hey Zoey," she replied.
"Any news?"
"Nope."
The door opened. It was Jesse.
"They're back!" Jesse exclaimed.
"What?" I asked.
"Where are they?" Sydney asked. "Jesse, I swear to God, that I will set you on fire if you-"
"The infirmary. Everyone's okay."
Everyone was okay. Dimitri and Rose had a few scratches. Christian was exhausted and being comforted by Lissa. Amberle was the most beautiful thing I have seen.
THREE WEEKS LATER...
We postponed the wedding for three weeks due to everything going on. Jesse and I were finally married.
