The Daughter of Aphrodite

CHAP 2. Apollo

       NARRATOR'S POV

              Amethyst is now waiting, and waiting, and waiting until finally Apollo comes into the room. She looks up at him giving him a wide smile showing all her glowing white teeth but when she looks at his eyes she only sees sadness, and depression. She waits for him to speak after waiting for him to only enter the room. He doesn't. She looks around seeing the beautiful carvings of the stars on the ceiling up to the red woolen bed she was sitting on. Suddenly after a few minutes Apollo began to speak.
 
             "Have you heard?" She thought for a second.
No! I have no life.  Heard what? No one tells me things these days! If it something bad your the closet person that I can hit you know?  "No tell me what I have not heard." Amethyst sees him making an expression as if saying that he doesn't want to tell her anymore. "Rumors are, you are soon going to marry the love god, Cupid." She walks up to him and slaps Apollo with all her might. "You ignorant FOOL! NO! I am not marrying anyone.... Cupid might hit on me and seem young but he is pretty much my FUCKING Grandfather!"

             She sits down on the floor in front of where he is standing trying not to make another bad reaction. Apollo soon was right of not wanting to tell her, probably because he knew what she would do if it would turn out to be big lie.

            She stands quickly back up to continue. "You should not listen to the stupid words that come out of the mouth of others! You should know better! Do you really think of me as a girl who would marry such a SELF-CENTERED GOD?!" Amethyst looks at him for a answer. Apollo takes a step closer grabbing both of her hands in a tight grip, and he knew what to say to her right away.
"I never thought that nonsense was true, love. I wanted to know if it was true. You would never marry Cupid, I know that, sort of. I was also only very concerned. You are a lovely goddess who has the spirit of a lion but the soul of a majestic blue jay." Amethyst punches him this time saying that he is making things go from bad to worse.

            "WHY THE FUCK DID YOU DO THAT?"Apollo yells, starting to get very annoyed. Amethyst started to say things in her mind wishing she was saying it aloud. Apollo, I'm not a goddess, I'm a demi-god! If he wasn't my friend, I would he killed him by now! "I did that for nothing. Now let's change the subject."
Amethyst sits back down for the third time hoping she doesn't have to hurt him again. He lays down beside her on the bed getting to comfortable. 

          "Fine, I'll change the subject. Um.....
Have you recently been interested in anyone?" Apollo leans in closer making her regret coming to see him in the first place. She
moves herself to the corner of the bed but he doesn't seem to notice because he continues to try to make there skins touch.
"Uh..... No, I have not met anyone who is someone that I desire to be with or someone that I can offer my love to." Apollo now has his mouth right next to her earlobe giving it a light kiss.

               "Are you sure?" He whispers while she starts to feel soft kisses go from her jaw line to her neck. Amethyst doesn't move feeling a little bit of guilt for not falling for Apollo. "Apollo, please stop. I should leave, my dear mother must be waiting for my presence." Amethyst feels his smile turn into a frown on her
s

kin, soon he is already off the bed and at the door waiting for her to leave. She walks past him giving him a smile while saying
that she is sorry those words were sincere but filled mostly with pity. Apollo gives her a reassuring smile but the moment she is a couple feet away he slams the door and all you hear is....
"SHIT, WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME!?"

           Amethyst hears this loud and clear and she begins to cry not knowing what was making her so emotional. In her heart she the answer the one that only Aphrodite and herself knew. When she was born, her mother learned that Amethyst would never be able to love another person in her life. 

               She cries the entire walk back to her home until her eyes are dry and no tears seem to come out. She UST doesn't know that is only the beginning of her sadness....... Because more events will take place.
