A virgin I stayed until Adam ravished me that night. And thankfully my medical record confirmed that otherwise, I don't know how I would live without Adam.
After that night of losing my virginity, Adam came to ravish me more every night. Sometimes, he would do it first thing in the mornings too. It did bother me because I would get close to arriving late at work, but as long as I got to be in bed with him and make him happy, I was fine.
It was first thing in the morning and as usual, I brewed my coffee. I stared, mesmerized, at the coffee as it poured into my cup and I felt a small smile break across my features as the bitter smell filled my nostrils. As I was reaching for it, I felt something nuzzle the area between my shoulders and my neck. I involuntary let out a sigh and immediately covered my mouth, embarrassed. Adam chuckled softly into my ear and I turned around without a second thought and stood on my tiptoes and kissed him by the corner of his mouth. I quickly pulled away, shocked and flustered at my sudden bravery and gesture.
As I was about to turn away because I was terrified that he would be mad, I felt his hand softly wrap around my upper arm and pull me towards him. He did wrap his arm around a bruise and I winced but I think he paid no mind to it. At least he was holding me lightly for once. Before I knew it, his lips were placed firmly upon mine.
He kissed me. Adam had actually kissed me! Warmth bloomed in my belly and my chest at the realization.
I felt replenished and I responded with ease because I loved him. Before I knew it, we were in bed once again.
After we were done with our session, I quickly started to grab my belongings because I was about to be late for work. And thank God Adam fell asleep afterwards otherwise I was worried he would never let me leave.
As I was about to tiptoe out of the room, I heard him call my name.
"Belle. Come here." Adam demanded groggily. I bit my bottom lip because I had no choice but to listen to him. And he actually bothered to call me by my name. The least I could do was acknowledge my husband.
"Yes...?"
Adam leaned over and flicked the lamp on and pulled himself up to look at me, letting me bask in his half naked glory. I felt my face getting hot as I stared at him. Adam was majestic. A fine piece of a human being, inside and out.
"You are no longer going to be working." At that, my world stopped and all the previous jittery feelings left my body cold.
"Women need to stay at home. That is your job, your duty. Nothing more. This is the last day you go to work."
I stared at Adam and opened my mouth to say something. Anything. My job was my life. I lived for this. It's what kept me grounded and I feared what would happen to me if I didn't have my job. A tremble found its way to my bottom lip and I sucked in some air to distract him from my weakened state.
"Okay."
