Sarena´s View

I spun around. The walls of the small concrete room, that I was held prisoner in, seemed to be moving towards me, making the space that was available even smaller. I screamed, a million of voices were fighting over attention in my head; every single one was as sharp as a razor blade. I collapsed on the floor, curled into a ball letting my feelings eat me alive, sobs shook me violently.

After what seemed hours I fell into a restless sleep and I dreamt of my journey here….

I was standing on a path, in a forest that I had never seen before. I stayed where I was and took in my surroundings. Around me were big trees and thick, luscious green grass. I could see colourful little flowers pocking up in between. The air was filled with the sweet scent of the flowers and the grass. Where on earth was I? This vegetation was completely different to the short and flat bushes that covered the hills of my home in Oceans Harmony.

At this moment something struck me mentally with an overwhelming force. A faint scent blew past me and threw my brain. It felt like a soft pull urging me into a direction. I heard a faint whisper drifting through the forest, speaking to me.

“We need you. Follow the pull, come to us.” It whispered

I was urged on the path I was standing on .The path was made of soft earth which was good for running. I did not look left or right I just looked straight ahead keeping my mind occupied with the task of following the pull. The pull suddenly stopped and out of nowhere a boy appeared in my view hanging upside down from a big tree with lots of branches, covered in deep green slim leaves.

“Hello” he said and jumped down, landing elegantly in front of me on both of his feet like a wildcat.

I recognized him in an instant. It was Jamie, my longlost boyfriend who had disappeared into thini air overnight into thin air, i still had strong feelings for him which now cancelled out the anger that had bult uo in me whe he just left all these years ago. He towered above me. His hair was a dirty blonde which fell in soft curls down to his shoulders. He was dressed in a deep blue shirt, beige shorts and his feet were protected by nothing from the ground beneath our feet. Relief flooded through me, but I did not have the time to tell him off for scaring me because he had already grabbed my hand and whizzed me deeper into the forest. He stopped on a cliff at the edge of the forest and held my upper arms as if he wanted to shake me. Instead he whispered urgently.

“I need you to help me. There is a reason why you are here. I told them it was you who stole their amulet. You have to play her.”

“Slow down, Jamie” I said “Would you please just explain where we are and what is going on?”

“Something is happening, my Love. The earth is coming out of balance. Things are happening that should have never happened.”

“What does that have to do with me?”“

“If I tell you know, there is no turning back. Can you live with that?”

“Yes, you know that i would do anything for you! Now tell me Jamie.”
