I fluttered my eyes open as I took in my surroundings. I was in my bed. In my apartment. I was very confused. I took my phone which was on my nightstand & saw a message on my phone

Aidan

I had a great time last night. You fell asleep in the car & I took you home & carried you to your bed. I also put my number in your phone. I hope you don't find me weird...

I looked at the message puzzled & then started typing

It's okay. Thank you so much for last night. What you did was very sweet :)

& I got a reply straight away.

Aidan

Can we go out again? Say Friday at Delta Café? Seven?

Me

But doesn't that mean you're gonna serve me?

Aidan

No, it'll be special ;) so what do you say?

Me

Why not. I'm down :)

I looked up at the ceiling & thought that maybe it was a bad idea to go out again. I mean how did he find my house & unlock my door & get to my room & unlock my phone? It was pretty suspicious.

Then my phone started ringing & I saw Jen's contact.

"Hey Jen," I greeted her as I put the phone on loudspeaker.

"How was the date?" she asked.

"It was good. We ate. Walked on the beach. Shared a few kisses," my voice went quiet

"Kisses!" I heard her yell

"Yes. Those huge lips are good though," I chuckled slyly.

"Oh Raine," she laughed.

"But something weird happened," I trailed off.

"What?" she asked.

"I fell asleep in his car & he found my house, somehow unlocked my front door & carried me to my room. Not to mention he somehow unlocked my phone & put his number in. How weird," I explained & Jen stayed silent for a while.

"Shady!" she yelled & caused me to laugh.

"I don't know. But we're going out again," I said.

"Are you sure though Raine?" she asked & the thing is, I wasn't.
