Raine

"So tell me, what's this shoot for again?" Jen asked over the phone.

"It's a campaign for creative students. Basically promoting youth empowerment," I explained.

"That's actually so cool. Well good luck, send me some photos when it's all over," she hummed.

"I will. Gotta go," I signed off.

"Bye," she hung up.

Just as the artist finished my makeup, the door opened.

"Hello doll," Kathleen, my agent, greeted me.

"Kathy," I chimed.

I loved it when she came to watch me do my work. She was so encouraging & always knew how to lay things down in a way that would go through but not hurt.

"How's my little superstar?" she asked as she laid her hands on my shoulders.

"Pretty good now that you're here," I smiled.

"Aw I like to hear that kid," she smiled & signaled me to stand up.

"Okay kid so today your photographer is actually a college student. Something about him doing an intern ship but I didn't quite catch the drift. But you know what to do. You've been doing it for a while now but I know you're gonna be great," she smiled & walked me to the set.

"Oh that's alright-" I stalled as I saw who was setting up the lights & talking to the crew, a giant camera dangling in his hand. My heart screamed.

"Oh she's here. Let's get started," his crisp voice rung through my ears. His mouth slowly curving into a devious smirk of some sort.

Before I could even speak, I just ran outside. To escape this beast that had been terrorising me for so long. I then heard the door swing open & saw Kathleen run from behind me.

"What was that kid?" she asked puzzled.

"It's just," I started hyperventilating heavily.

"What Raine?" she asked, struggling to understand my fear. I couldn't do this. Be this petty. This guy was ruining my work. I can't let him do that.

"Nothing. I just needed some air sorry about that," I chuckled & tried to make it seem casual.

"Alright. Now get back in there & give them magic," she smiled & we walked back inside to the white screen.

"Okay are we ready?" Aidan asked.

"Yeah," I murmured & started posing.

Photo after photo I could see his excitement rising. I saw as the posing instructions progressed they were getting vaguely sexual.

"You're doing a great job Raine," he complimented me with a sicken smile. All I could do was smile back for two seconds & get back to my work.

"Okay so I think this is the part where you start losing layers," he instructed, "take off your jacket."

I just did what he told me & lost the jacket. Some poses later, he stopped & smirked at me.

"Maybe it'd be good if she unbuckled the buttons of her pants," he instructed again, a bit more of a demand from the tone of his voice. I followed suit as I thought it was uniform.

"Maybe your shirt too?" he questioned. I gave him a look & so did Kathleen.

"Take off your shirt," he said with a sort of aggression in his voice.

"Excuse me. My client & I did not agree to this. This was also not stated in the contract that we signed that she would have to pose nude," Kathleen interrupted.

"I feel as though this is a sense of freedom for her. A creative way for her to let go," he tried to explain himself.

"Well I think that these photos are actually for your own sexual entertainment," she crossed her arms & left Aidan gobsmakcked.

"That's it we're leaving," she stormed out of the studio & left the door open, "Raine!" she yelled & I looked at Aidan who was still looking like an idiot.

"Disgusting," I said harshly & stormed out.

"That guy is so weird. I'm gonna call that company & report him," Kathleen shook her head.

"Yeah very weird," I whispered to myself because I knew.
