Raine

"You saw Aidan again?" Jen asked as she ate her pancake drenched in heavy chocolate sauce.

"Yep," I nodded with a smile. I knew how Jen felt about him but the thing is, I knew what I felt about him & I really felt something.

"Ray!" she rolled her eyes & groaned.

"What?" I defended.

"Again. This guy is gonna cling onto you like a jellyfish & when it's time to let go, I swear it won't be easy," she pointed her fork at me as a piece of her pancake faced me.

"Jen you're freaking out over nothing. He's such a sweet guy. The date last night was absolutely amazing," I gushed.

"What happened?" she asked as she folded her arms.

"We had dinner. He explained everything that happened on the previous date, how he found my house key under my windowsill & found my house on Google Maps & hacked into my phone because he's an advance technology hacker," I looked at her with a smug look, "then we kissed."

"Again!" she exclaimed quietly.

"Yes," I smiled & saw my phone shaking violently on the table.

"Don't tell me it's him," she groaned.

"It is," I continued to give her a smug smile & answered my phone.

"Hey you," I greeted him as I looked at Jen.

"Hey, you busy?" he asked.

"I'm at breakfast with Jen," I giggled.

"Sorry to disturb, I just wanna know if you were alright after last night," his voice soft through the speaker.

"I am thanks," I smiled with my cheeks flushed, "thanks for last night I really enjoyed it."

"Anything for you beautiful. We should definitely hang out again if you're free," he suggested, I could hear the sly smirk on the other end.

"Actually tonight you could come over to my place. I could make us dinner," I suggested.

"Could you give me dessert too?" he chuckled slyly.

"Aidan!" I gasped & laughed.

"Yep pushing it. Was worth a try," he laughed, "be there by six."

"Alright. Can't wait," I smiled.

"Neither can I," he whispered seductively.

"Bye," I giggled.

"Bye gorgeous. & tell Jen I said hi," he spoke.

"Alright," I smiled & dropped the call.

"You're seriously gonna see him tonight?" Jen gawked with her mouth open.

"Yes. Have a sense of adventure Jen," I shrugged & ate my pancake.

"Yeah those are the types of things that get you killed," she shrugged & continued stuffing her face with pancakes.
