Raine

I was sitting alone in my apartment, getting some work done for this project I had when I heard a knock on my door. I was curious because I knew Jen was out of town for the weekend so.

I went to answer it & saw Jasper with my favourite thing in his hands.

"Oh my God how did you know?" I gasped as I gave him a tight hug.

"Because this is the best pie in the city," he chuckled & gave me a kiss on my cheek. He set the pie on the table & I went to get plates & cutlery.

"Aren't you supposed to be in the office?" I asked as I set down the plates.

"Nah. Off day," he smiled & sat down. As I finished putting the plates on the table he pulled me back & I landed on his legs.

"Move up & sit here," he gently touched my waist & set me on his lap.

I giggled attentively as I grabbed my plate of the pie & ate.

"What you did was sweet. Thank you," I smiled.

"I just wanted to surprise you & make your day," he smiled & smeared some sauce on my nose.

"You're so cute," I giggled & cupped his cheek.

We were both laughing, it started to slowly fade away as I realised his actual beauty. Damn he was beautiful. I looked at me with a smile of hope, a fragile smile.

"You're so beautiful Raine," he whispered & came in for a kiss.

Our lips were intact & I couldn't have felt any better. I shifted my weight to centre myself & wrapped my legs around his waist & my arms around his neck as I kept kissing him.

The door then flew open & in stormed Aidan, in a wild rage.

"Raine how could you?" he asked, deeply offended.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, quite frightened.

"You said you like me," he whined.

"Yeah before I found out how psycho you are!" I exclaimed.

"Aye bud, you can't just walk into her place at any given moment & invade her privacy," Jasper set me on the couch & stood up.

"Invade her privacy? Ask her what she knows about invading privacy," Aidan pointed at me.

"What is he talking about?" Jasper looked at me.

"She opened my bathroom cabinet. That's an invasion of my privacy!" Aidan screamed.

"It's just a bathroom cabinet man," Jasper looked at him very confused, ignorant of the things I saw in there.

"Aidan please just go home," I begged him.

"No. You're mine. You're coming home with me," he grabbed my arm & practically dragged me out of the apartment.

"Hey!" Jasper yelled & tried to fight him off. As Jasper came towards Aidan, he pulled out a blade.

"You're insane!" Jasper yelled & he looked at me.

"I'll kill you," he said to Jasper with cold eyes.

"Aidan. I swear I will call the police!" I reprimanded him.

At that Aidan took off like a whimpering puppy.

"What was that?" Jasper asked as he helped me up.

"He's mentally ill. I assume," I shrugged.

"You have too much on your plate. I don't think we can be together. I'm putting my life in danger for a girl I barely know," he said quietly, "sorry," he walked away.
