Jaden💜

It's almost graduation, and it's also almost summer. I've been planning something for this summer for me and Aleiah, and I really do hope she likes it.

I've been loving her with everything in me for as long as I can remember. I'm so in love with her, that sometimes it gets scary for me because I'm afraid to lose her. It would take me to be a major dumbass idiot to let a girl like her go. It's like I only see myself with her, and her only.

"Ma, you home?!" I yell out as I walk in through the front door.

"Estoy aquí, hijo!" I heard her shout from the living room in Spanish. I made my way in there, and I found her sitting on the couch watching TV. I hugged her and pecked her cheek as I sat down next to her.

"Hey Ma. How was your day?"

"Ay, mi niño, it could've been better." She sighed.

"Qué quieres decir, why do you say that?"

She shook her head. "It was nothing important, I'm just tired."

"Oh. Well, Ma, I wanted to ask you something."

Her eyes lit up as she muted the TV and looked me excitedly as she gasped. "My son is asking me for advice?! Para qué necesita asesoramiento?! Estoy escuchando, my son."

I chuckled. "Ma, I don't really need advice, I just wanted your honest opinion."

"Well, I'm still listening, so tell me."

I sighed. "Sabes que estoy enamorado de Aleiah, justo?"

"Si, lo se."

I bit my lip nervously. "Bueno, realmente quiero saber si puedo tener tu----" She cut me off before I finished.

"Jaden, mejor que no me digas que está embarazada!"

I scoffed as I shook my head. "No, Mamá, she is not pregnant. We're not having sex."

She sighed in relief. "Okay, good. Continue..."

"Quería saber si puedo tener tu bendición para pedirle a Aleiah que se case conmigo."

Her eyes grew wide as she gasped. "Jaden, really?! Oh my God, when?!"

"In the summer." I smiled. She smiled too.

"I know that you guys are still kind of young, but I guess I approve. You can't stop love, no matter how old."

I hugged her. "Thanks, Ma."

She chuckled as she hugged me tighter. "Oh, my son. Growing up on me, where has the time gone?" We pulled apart, and she began to mess with my hair. "Te amo, hijo."

"Yo también te quiero mamá."

Malak

I rode my skateboard back and forth slowly as I waited for Sabrina. Today would be the day that I tell her how I feel, and that I ask her out.

"Malak?" I heard her soft voice say. I turned around to look at her, and she was wearing a simple T-shirt and a pair of jeans. She looked good and she was only wearing a simple outfit.
