It's Josh's 21st birthday and remember in chapter 21 Josh said he'll take Maya out on a date on his birthday? Well it's time for the date!
Maya: *comes through the window and sees Riley texting Lucas* Riley I need help!
Riley: *looks up* oh hey peaches! It's funny how you're 18 and you're still climbing through my window *laughs*
Maya: and I'll still be climbing through this window even when I'm 30 *smiles* now I need help finding an outfit for my date tonight.
Riley: *smiles* yay! Let's go through my closet and see what we can find *goes to her closet and shuffles through clothing* how about this? [outfit in beginning of chapter]
Maya: *smiles* I like it! Edgy enough for me but girly enough because it's a date. Plus I love the red since it's Valentine's Day.
Riley: *smiles and hands her the outfit* go get dressed and I'll do your hair and makeup!
Maya: *goes into the bathroom to get changed* okay I'm ready for hair and makeup *poses like a celebrity*
Riley: okay so what do you want me to do with your hair? Do you want it up, down, curly, straight?
Maya: can you straighten it? My hair is always wavy. I don't think Josh has ever seen me with straight hair *laughs*
Riley: okay and what about makeup? I'm thinking red lips to go with the red theme. *smiles*
Maya: yes! That is great. But what if I kiss Josh? He'll have red lipstick on him *chuckles*
Riley: too bad for him *gets started on Maya's hair and makeup* so where is he taking you?
Maya: *sits still* I honestly don't know. He won't tell me. Then again he never tells me what he's planning. He always surprises me. Two years ago he took me on a picnic.
Riley: well I don't think he's going to do the exact same thing. But if he does I know he'll make it slightly different *finishes her hair and makeup* okay go look in the mirror and tell me what you think.
Maya: *goes into the bathroom to look in the mirror* I love it Riles! How are you so good at doing hair and makeup? Your mom doesn't let you wear a ton. [hair and makeup is like the above pic]
Riley: I'm glad you like it peaches *smiles* now all we have to do is wait for Josh to pick you up!
Maya: *hears her phone beep* I got a text *looks at her phone* and of course is from Boing.
Riley: well? What did he say? *smiles*
Maya: *reads the text out loud* it says: hey gorgeous I'll be over at 6:30 to pick you up. Can't wait to see you beautiful. Xoxo boing
Riley: awe! I'm so happy he's more comfortable flirting with you now.
Maya: me too. If someone told me four years ago that I'd be so close to dating Josh, I would've laughed at them *watches tv with Riley to kill time*
Topanga: *knocks on the door* Maya? It's 6:20. Josh will be here soon to pick you up. Why don't you come out here and wait with me and Cory?
Maya: *walks into the living room to see Cory and Shawn* hey dad! What are you doing here?
Shawn: I like being called dad. And I'm here to make sure Josh treats you like a princess.
Maya: he does dad. He always is a gentleman *smiles*
Riley: uncle Shawn, is Maya technically my cousin now? *laughs*
Maya: *laughs* if I'm your cousin and your sister, how will I be your aunt?
Josh: *walks in the apartment and hears what Maya said* easy. Marry me and you'll be her aunt *smirks*
Shawn: *hears Josh* no one is getting married anytime soon!
Maya: *hears a familiar voice and turns around* Josh! *hurries and hugs him*
Josh: *hugs her tight and spins her around* you look beautiful Maya *kisses her cheek*
Maya: *blushes* thank you Boing! Oh before I forget, here's your birthday gift! *hands him a bag*
Josh: *opens his gift and sees a painting of him and Maya holding hands with "someday" on top* Maya this is incredible! You're so talented!
Maya: *blushes* I'm going to put the date of someday when it happens.
Josh: I know the perfect place to hang this *smiles*
Shawn: if you say something cheesy like above your bed, I think I'm going to barf *smirks*
Josh: you might as well get ready 'cause that's exactly where I'm going to put this masterpiece *smirks*
Shawn: *makes gagging sounds*
Topanga: will you grow up already? *rolls her eyes* Maya do you have any other pieces I can hang in Topanga's?
Maya: plenty! I'll show you tomorrow *smiles*
Josh: ready to go gorgeous?
Maya: I was born ready *smiles*
Shawn: bring her home by 11:30 Matthews!
Josh: I will Shawn *leaves while holding Maya's hand*
Maya: where are we going?
Josh: to our apartment to watch movies and cuddle without spying eyes *smiles*
5 minutes later they're at their apartment
Josh: *walks in with Maya on his back* I love it when you're on my back.
Maya: me too. It reminds me of when you got accepted to NYU *smiles*
Josh: *gently places her on the couch and sits next to her* have I mentioned how adorable you look tonight? I don't think I've seen you with straight hair.
Maya: *blushes and bites her lip* Josh...
Josh: *looks at Maya's pouty lips* yes beautiful?
Maya: *looks at him* kiss me.
Josh: *smiles* don't have to tell me twice *kisses her passionately*
Maya: *kisses back and maneuvers herself onto his lap*
Josh: *grips lightly on her hips as her hands tug on his hair*
Maya: *tugs his hair gently knowing he loves it*
Josh: *groans and kisses her harder*
Maya: *slips her hands under his shirt to feel his abs and scar*
Josh: *shivers at her touch and kisses her jaw and neck*
Maya: *moans and tugs on his shirt* Josh...
Josh: *pulls back and takes off his shirt then goes back to kissing her neck*
Maya: *moans and touches his abs and back*
Josh: *lightly touches her hips under her shirt*
Maya: *moans as he kisses her sweet spot* Josh... stop.
Josh: *stops* what's wrong princess?
Maya: *takes off her shirt revealing her red bra*
Josh: *moans at the sight and immediately goes back to kissing her neck as one hand gently squeezes one breast*
Maya: *moans and pulls his hips closer by his belt loops*
Josh: *continues kissing her neck for a bit and then stops* we should stop. Your first time is not going to happen on a couch.
Maya: *panting* then lets go to the bedroom *bites her lip*
Josh: *shakes his head* no. As much as I'd love to right now, it's not the time. Your first time should be special.
Maya: I want my first time to be with you *slips her shirt back on as he does the same*
Josh: I want my first time to be with you too gorgeous *kisses her cheek*
Maya: you haven't done it? *looks at him shocked*
Josh: nope. Since I was 17 I told myself not to do anything stupid because I wanted to wait for you. You were still young but I wanted you. I still want you. Ever since the college party I couldn't stop thinking about you.
Maya: and I want you. I've wanted you since I was 14. I'm right here Josh. You can have me right now *smiles*
Josh: when the time is right it will be spectacular babe. I can promise you that *kisses her*
Maya: so you're not going to say that we won't do it until someday comes?
Josh: *smiles* we'll know when the time is right. I want there to be enough time for me to give you pleasure without having to worry about taking you home on time. Our first time is not going to be rushed *holds her close*
Maya: *relaxes in his arms* since its Valentine's Day and we aren't going to have sex, can we watch the notebook?
Josh: *smiles* of course we can. I didn't know you liked romantic movies.
Maya: only on Valentine's Day *smiles and grabs the movie*
Josh: *puts the movie in and holds her close* I love you beautiful.
Maya: *smiles* and I love you Boing. I have since I was 14.
Josh: *kisses her neck from behind* it looks like I left you a hickey *smirks*
Maya: *chuckles* good thing I brought concealer or else Shawn would kill you.
Josh: wait you're not mad I left a hickey? *looks at her*
Maya: of course not. I kind of expected it so that's why I brought concealer.
Josh: you never cease to amaze me Hart Hunter *pulls her close to him*
Maya: since you've wanted me for the last 4 years, you've thought about us doing it?
Josh: *blushes* yes but I always told myself to wait until you're older. But damn you made it so hard sometimes. Sometimes I just wanted to go up and kiss you even though I knew it wasn't a good idea.
Maya: when did you want to kiss me but you didn't? *looks at him*
Josh: ski lodge. Wanted to kiss you immediately after I told you that I liked you but I knew I couldn't. I couldn't with your classmates all around us. But it's okay cuz I can kiss you whenever I want now *kisses her*
Maya: *smiles* how much longer until someday?
Josh: just a few more months Maya. We're so close *smiles at her and rubs lazy circles on her hands*
Maya: did you really mean it earlier when you said to marry you and then I'll be Riley's aunt?
Josh: of course I mean it. I want to marry you one day. You're my Topanga. Don't you want to marry me?
Maya: I do. I'd marry you right now if we could *laughs*
Josh: one day we will get married. First let's get you out of high school and start our someday *smiles*
Maya: I can't wait for the future Boing.
Josh: me either. As long as my future includes you, I'm sure it'll be fun.
Maya and Josh watch movies and talk until Josh takes her home before 11:30 so Shawn doesn't kill him.
