(Flashback) The next day, Nina went out to the Enchanted Forest where she began her search for the Red Middlemist with a flower book tucked under her arm. As soon as she came upon a field of Middlemist flowers, she began to look for one that was bright red and not pink. But no matter how hard she looked, she couldn't seem to find it.
Just then she pulled out the flower book and began to read the section about the Red Middlemist, but as she was reading, she came upon a part that made her eyes widen.
"The Red Middlemist can be grown from regular Middlemist seeds?" she gasped as she continued to read out loud "With the right soil and magic water from Lake Nostos, the Red Middlemist can be grown from any Middlemist seeds."
At that point she turned to the Middlemist field and immediately went to one of the flowers where she plucked it out of the ground and placed it behind her ear to keep it still as she then pulled out her phone and started to call Jillian
"Hey Jillian" she said when her roommate picked up "Do you know where I find Lake Nostos?"
"Lake Nostos?" Jillian said who was in the Cafeteria "I don't think I've ever heard of that lake."
"I have" Hunter Huntsman suddenly appeared next to her "I've been there before, a siren tried to drown me."
"What?" Jillian's eyes widen.
"Yeah, but I took care of her. So who's trying to find it?"
"Nina."
"Can I see your phone?"
Jillian handed him her phone as he began to talk to Nina.
"Hey Nina" he said "It's Hunter, if you're trying to find Lake Nostos, go north of the Enchanted Forest, you should be able to find the lake."
"Uh, did I hear you say that there was a siren who tried to drown you?" Nina asked with a worried look.
"Yeah, but don't worry about it, I already took care of her, so you can just go in."
"Oh okay, thanks Hunter."
"No problem" he said as they hung up.
After that, Nina headed into the woods where she started to head north, hoping the find the lake.
In the 'Wonder diner', Elena and Olivia sat at a table with their cups of tea next to them just as Mira came in.
"So?" Elena asked her.
"Nothing" Mira said with disappointment as she sat next to Elena "Dr. Jekyll really needs his lab equipment or else he can't remake the serum."
"Well this is a bummer" Olivia sighed.
"This is crazy" Elena said "How could the Evil Queen still be alive even when she had her heart crushed?"
"Maybe she doesn't need a heart" Olivia said "I mean usually people who are cruel are considered 'heartless', and since Mira's evil self is the Evil Queen, I don't think she needs a heart since she's so evil and stuff."
"That could be it" Mira said "Except I've never heard anyone who can survive without their heart behind crushed."
"Oh."
"The main thing is-" Mira sighed "The Evil Queen is gonna try to get me to tear this family apart, but I'm gonna try to prevent that."
"And we'll do everything we can to help" Elena assured as Mira gave a little nod.
"Oh wait that reminds me" she suddenly said "I have something for you girls."
She then reached into her purse and pulled out two small jewelry boxes and handed it to them.
"What's this?" Olivia asked.
"Open them" Mira said as they opened the boxes to see a Tree of Life necklace.
Elena saw that hers was silver while Olivia's was gold.
"Wait a minute" Elena said surprised as she turned to Mira "Is this your necklace?"
"Yeah."
"And is this my mother's?" Olivia asked surprised.
"Yep, remember when I told you that I still had it, well there it is."
"Why are you giving these to us?" Elena asked.
"Because, I've seen your friendship developed over the years, and just seeing the two of you as best friends makes me happy, and I never want anything to tear you guys apart. These necklaces may of not brought me and Snow White together, but I know it'll keep your friendship strong."
Elena and Olivia gave small smiles as they put on the necklaces.
"I love it" Olivia smiled.
"Me too" Elena smiled as she turned to Mira "Thanks Mira."
Mira returned the smile as they went into a hug.
"Hey I just realized something" Olivia suddenly said "Where did Rachel go?"
"Oh yeah" Mira said "She just headed off and she still hasn't come back."
"I'm sure she's okay" Elena assured "Maybe she just needed to do something."

Now at her house, Rachel went into her room where she went up to a full size pink mirror. There she looked at her reflection, knowing that this wasn't her real look like how it was back in the fairytale world. But after looking at her reflection for a bit, she took a deep breath as she went towards the mirror and felt herself go through it just like a Looking Glass.
As she felt the surface of the mirror pass through her, she could already feel herself changing, her hair suddenly got shorter, her clothes started to feel like a dress, and she can feel wings growing out on her back. Pretty soon she made it to the other side of the mirror where she found herself in the woods. She then saw that she didn't look like before, now she was wearing a pink and black short dress, her hair was now hot pink and into a short curled hairstyle, her skin was now pale, and growing out of her back was a pair of skeleton like wings.
After admiring her look, she looked ahead to see a Gothic looking building in front of her, a building that she hasn't seen in years ever since she transferred to Ever After High. But unlike Ever After High, this building wasn't a school for the children of fairytale characters, it was a school for the children of the supernatural.
"Hello Monster High" Rachel smirked "I'm back."
