Ch.54 Inner darkness

When she went back to the castle, Mira peeked inside the living room where she saw Raven talking to her friends on the couch.

"Okay" she sighed in a whisper "How am I gonna do this?"

As she looked around the living room, she turned to the bookshelf where she spotted a book that gave her an idea. So using her powers to knocked the book off the shelf as it landed on the floor with a thud catching everyone's attention.

"What was that?" Apple asked.

"Oh" Raven said as she got up and went to pick up the book "My mother's old yearbook just fell off the shelf."

"You're mother's yearbook?" Maddie said.

"Yeah" Raven said as she examined the dusty book "You know, I haven't looked in this yearbook for years."

"Then let's check it out" Cerise suggested "I'm sure your mother wont mind."

"You really think we should?"

"Yeah" they all agreed.

"Come on" Apple urged with a smile "We got nothing else to do, so we might as well look at our parents during their high school years."

"Well, alright then."

Mira watched as her plan started to work as the girls surrounded Raven as she opened the yearbook.

"Well there's young Headmaster Grimm" Raven pointed to the photo.

"Damn" Cerise said amused "He used to be super skinny."

"Oh there's my mom" Apple pointed to the next photo "And your mom drew a mustache on her."

"What else is new?" Raven smirked as she turned the page "Oh there's my mom."

But as they looked at the photo, they all noticed something that caught their attention.

"Uh, is it me?" Maddie said "Or does your mom look a lot like Taylor?"

"You're not the only one" Raven said surprised "She looks exactly like Taylor, but with different hair."

"Raven" Apple said with her eyes widen "You don't think Taylor's really your mom do you?"

"Uh, it can't be" Raven said as she tried to stay calm "My mom is in mirror prison, and it's impossible to get out of there. And even if she did, we would of found out already."

"Then why does Taylor look exactly like a younger duplicate of your mother?" Cedar asked.

At that point a thought came to Apple.

"Maybe she is a younger duplicate?" she gasped.

Mira knew that this was her que as she walked in.

"Hey guys" she said with a smile "What are you looking at."

At that point they all gasped as they stood up and backed away.

"What's wrong?" she asked while acting calm.

"I'll tell you what's wrong" Raven frowned as she showed her the photo "Is this you?"

Mira pretended to act surprised.

"Who are you Taylor?" Raven demanded "Or should I call you mom?"

At that point Mira gave a smirk.

"Took you long enough to figure it out" she said as she used her powers to bring Apple towards her as she puncture her hand into her chest and pulled out her heart as everyone gasped with fright.
