Ch.8 Hooded figure

After the mysterious man left, Delilah showed Olivia and Terrence the letter he left that had 'Apple White' written on it.

"He just left it on the counter?" she asked Delilah.

"And then he vanished" Delilah added "You think he might be the invisible man? Or maybe a vampire. What if he's Dracula? Oh wait it's daytime."

"Yeah wrong Count" Terrence said as he looked at the letter that Olivia had opened "Monte Cristo?"

"Not on the menu" Lauren suddenly came up to them "Not a fan of the icky bread."

"No Lauren it's a place" Olivia said "It's the Count, quite a reputation. But why would he want to meet with me?"

"He doesn't" Mira suddenly appeared "He wants you dead."

At that point everyone's eyes widen as Mira went up to them.

"He wants his revenge and that's the only way he can get it" she put in.

"That doesn't make any sense I've never even met him" Olivia said confused "Why would he want to kill me?"

Mira gave a sigh with a guilty look "Because I hired him to do it."

On the other side of Storybrooke, on top of a hill laid a Lakeside Mansion, a mansion that used to belong to the wizard Merlin but was now a place to visit and look at the old items from books to the lounge. And inside the lounge, Elena sat in a couch chair and listened to the clock ticking as she waited with a nervous look while thinking about her visions. And the more she thought about them, the more nervous she felt. But her thinking soon came to a stop when Brooke entered along with her boyfriend Daniel who was also the Merlin's Apprentice.

"Hey Elena" Brooke said "How are you feeling?"

"A bit nervous" Elena admitted.

"Well you don't have to be" Danny said "I'm gonna try to help you okay?"

Elena gave a nod of agreement.

"Now Elena" Brooke said "Just listen to what he has to say, and try to pay attention."

"I will."

"Alright then" Brooke said as she turned to Danny "I'll see you later."

"Bye" he said with a small smile as she headed off leaving them alone.

"Okay" Danny said as he sat down in another couch chair in front of Elena "Time for some therapy. You ready?"

Elena just gave a small shrug as she looked down nervously.

"Elena this is a safe space" he assured "You can trust me. Now Brooke told me that your hand has been shaking for some reason and you wont bother to tell anyone. Now what's going on?"

At that point Elena gave a small sigh.

"My hand shaking-" she started to say "They come with visions, well uh, a vision, one vision actually."

"And what do you see in this vision?"

She took a deep breath as she tried to calm herself.

"Alright" she said as she began to think about her vision "I'm on Main Street, Olivia, Terrence, Aidan, and Brooke are there with me, and I'm in a battle."

"Against who?"

"I- I can't tell, but they're strong. So strong, and I'm giving it my all. I almost start to win, but then my hand started shaking..."

She hesitated as she thought about her vision.

"And what happens then?" Danny asked.

At that point Elena thought about the part of the vision of her getting stabbed by the hooded figure.

"I die" she answered as Danny took a deep breath feeling a bit surprised.

"Well-" he said "I think the more you talk about it the less it'll haunt you."

"You think I should tell my friend?"

"Well, the only question is why haven't you?"

"Because I know exactly what they would do, they would tell me to stop what I'm doing and save the day."

"And what's wrong with them trying to protect you?"

"Because I'm the Savior."

"And the Savior can't take a day off."

"If I don't help people then who am I?"

"I don't know Elena" he shrugged "That's a question you have to ask yourself."

"Okay I'm not here for identity crisis, I just want you to help me figure out how to win this fight and protect the people I love. I mean you're the Sorcerer's Apprentice, you pretty much know everything."

"Okay, that is not entirely true. Although, in order for me to fully understand what's going on, will you allow me to look into your vision?"

"What?" she said confused.

At that point Danny held out his hand as he used his wizard powers to make a dreamcatcher appear in his hand.

"This dreamcatcher has the ability to look into people's dreams and visions" he explained "All you have to do is lay down and think about your vision, and then I'm gonna hold this over you and I'll be able to see what you're thinking."

Elena gave a small sigh.

"Alright" she said as she went over to a full couch where she laid down and rested her head on a pillow.

"Go when you're ready" Danny said as he went up to her.

Elena took a deep breath as she closed her eyes and began to think about her vision. At that point Danny held the dreamcatcher above her head as it began to show him her vision. He watched as Elena fought against a hooded figure with swords as her friends were watching with fright. She was almost close to winning until the figure knocks the sword out of her hand.

Danny then watched as Elena's hand began to shake, and while she was distracted, the figure suddenly drove the sword into her stomach. At that point Danny gasped with shocked as he back away as Elena opened her eyes. She turned to Danny who was breathing heavily with a shocked look.

"Are you okay?" she asked with a worried look "Did you see everything?"

"Yeah" he said still shocked "But that hooded figure, I swear I've seen it before."

"Are you sure? Because a lot of hooded figures look the same."

"Not this one, I know I've seen that one before, but I can't remember when and where."

"So does that mean you know who the figure is?"

"Sadly no. But about your vision, I don't know if there's a way for you to win the battle, I mean if I knew who the figure was I may know how to stop it, but since I don't, that's all I can say."

Elena gave a sigh.

"That's okay" she said as she grabbed her purse "Thanks anyway."

And with that she headed off, leaving Danny wondering where he saw the figure, and who it could be.
