Ch.22 Familiar sisters

(Flashback) That night at Miranda's party, Jackson made his way through the crowd as he searched for Miranda.

"Jackson!" he heard her call as he turned around and saw Miranda coming towards him and into a hug "You made it!"

Jackson felt his heart skip when she hugged him.

"Well I couldn't miss your birthday" he smiled when she pulled away.

"Well since you're here, let's go somewhere quiet so we can talk."

And with that she grabbed his hand and pulled him through the crowd until they went out onto a balcony.

"This is better" she said in relief.

"Agree" Jackson agreed.

"So last night, when your father was talking to my father, I overheard them say that you and your family are planning on moving. Is that true?"

"Oh" he said in a sad tone "I'm afraid so."

"Where are you moving?"

"A place called New Salem, and that means I'm gonna have to be going to this new school called 'Monster High'."

"Monster High?"

"It's a school for all kinds of monsters and creatures."

"But, you're not a monster or a creature."

"I know" he sighed "But since my father is famous for creating the serum that basically turned him into a monster, they allowed me to be transferred to the school, even though I'm gonna be the only human there. But they say that Monster High accepts everyone for who they are, and I just hope that's true."

"Well it better be true, because of those monsters pick on you for who you are, I will hunt them down. Because you are a great person, never forget that."

At that point he gave a small smile.

"I'm gonna miss you when you move" she added "I really like you you know."

"You- you do?" he said a bit surprised.

"I've never met a guy like you, you're not like other guys, you're so... unique."

"You really think that?"

"I do" she confessed as they got closer to him "And I gotta say, I like that."

Jackson felt his heart beat while blushing, and the next thing he knew Miranda was leaning towards him. Knowing what was happening, Jackson leaned in too as he closed his eyes as he felt his lips press against hers. He could feel his heart jumping with joy, and when they pulled away, he could feel his cheeks turning pink.

"Uh-" Miranda started to say "Do you wanna, stay out here longer?"

"Um... sure" he replied "I'd love that."

And with that she gave a small smile as they both felt themselves blush.

Later that evening outside the 'Wonder diner', Mira sat at a table with a sad look on her face when Elena went up to her.

"You okay?" she asked.

"I have to die" Mira said sadly.

"What?"

"Since we couldn't find a way to take a blood sample from my evil self, Dr. Jekyll wanted to see what would happened if he used my blood sample. And after doing some testing with my blood along with the serum, he concluded that the only way to stop the Evil Queen is if I die.

"Are you serious?" Elena said with shock.

"Apparently so" Mira sighed "He also found that even though I separated myself from the darkness, the capacity for evil remains."

"And that remains in you?"

"It can grow back at any time" Mira said with a sad look "And uh, remember right before you sacrificed yourself and became the Evil Queen? You told us that we had to fight in order to save you. Well if I become the Evil Queen again, I want you and everyone to do the same thing."

"I really hope we don't have to" Elena said sadly.

"I hope so too" Mira sighed.

At the school, Alice was packing up to go when Sharlene peeked in from the opening.

"Goodnight" she smiled.

"Oh wait I have something for you" Alice said as she held up a red apple.

"What's this for?" Sharlene smiled as she took the fruit.

"It's a tradition in that world that... I can't really explain, but they're delicious, so enjoy."

"Thank you" Sharlene smiled as she started to head off "I'll see you tomorrow."

"Hey" Alice stopped her "That's princess from your kingdom, did she ever fixed things there?"

Sharlene hesitated before answering.

"I left to the Land of Untold Stories" she replied "But, I don't think so."

"Maybe someday" Alice smiled.

"Maybe" Sharlene agreed with a small smile "Goodnight Alice."

"Goodnight" Alice replied as Sharlene headed off.

But after leaving the school, it was now nighttime as she made her way into the woods where she came upon a small empty filled. After making sure that no one was looking, she reached into her purse and pulled out a golden genie bottle. She then rubbed the bottle a few times as pink and blue smoke sprang out from the bottle and began to swirl in front of her, and when the smoke went away, there standing were two almost similar genie girls. One had hot pink hair and the other had light blue.

"Where have you been?" the one with blue hair asked.

"I had to wait until dark" Sharlene said "To make sure it was safe."

"And they still don't know who you really are?" the one with pink hair asked.

"They have no idea."

"Have you found any evidence?" the blue haired one asked.

"I'm afraid not, although, I did meet your friend Gigi, Alistair."

"Oh you did" Gigi smiled "How is he?"

"Well he doesn't know me yet."

"Oh that's right."

"Are you sure you haven't found anything?" the blue haired one asked.

"Yes Whisp" Sharlene said "I searched on my breaks, nothing."

"Well I know he's here."

"I did not come this far only to give up on finding Aladdin."

"I know" Whisp said "And we wont leave your side until we do, I promise you we will find him Jasmine."
