Ch.25 Unlikely team

(Flashback) Many years ago in Agrabah, inside the Sultan's palace, Aladdin stood upon a balcony as he gazed upon the day view while examining some coins that he had in his hand.

"Did you steal that?" he turned around to see his wife Jasmine.

"Oh uh..." he said with he tried to think of an excuse "No."

"You're a really bad liar you know."

"I know" he sighed with guilt "Sorry, it's a bad habit that I'm trying to stop."

"Well then, tell me Aladdin, do you have any plans today?"

"Not really, why?"

"Well I was wondering if you can help me with something."

"Sure what is it?"

"You know of the shortage of food this town has right?"

"Of course."

"Well I heard of this crystal called the Diamond in the Raft, it's the most powerful weapon in this realm. If we use that crystal, we can bring food to water to everyone."

"Are you sure about that?" he asked with an unsure look.

"Not really, but that's what I want to see to make sure. And I need your help because you're good at thievery."

"Well-" he sighed "If it makes everyone happy, I'll do it."

"Excellent" she smiled.

"But can we try to make it back before dark, Genie's coming back tonight and he wants us to meet some new people."

"I know, that's why I think we should go now."

But as she took off, Aladdin was about to follow her when he suddenly heard a noise as he turned and saw a dove resting on the roof staring at him before taking off. Wondering what a dove was doing in Agrabah, Aladdin decided to forget about it as he went inside.

Outside the school, Jackson sat at a wooden table under a shady tree doing some science paperwork when some went up to him.

"You still figuring out a way to stop my dad" the person said as Jackson turned and was surprised to see Holt who now looked like an average guy.

"Holt" he said surprised "How are you with your new look?"

"Well I don't know how long we're gonna be here, so I might as well get used to it. So what are you doing?"

"Just basic science, since my dad said that the only way to stop to Evil Queen is when Mira dies, and that got us worried that the only way to stop Hyde is when my dad dies."

"Oh" Holt said surprised.

"Yeah..." Jackson sighed.

"Isn't there another way?"

"That's what we're trying to find out, but so far we found nothing. And if we can't find anything, then the only way to stop Hyde is wait for my dad to die."

"Well, what if there is another way?"

"What do you mean?"

"Cupid told me that this place is full of mysteries, maybe it has something that can stop my dad."

"What makes you think we can find something to stop Hyde?"

"I don't know, but if we're gonna stop my dad, I think we should work together. Now I know we've been through a lot, but this time, I think we need to team up. So what do you say?"

He held out his hand as Jackson thought about it. And after thinking about it, he gave a small smile as he shook his hand.

Now as Danny's duplicate, the Evil Queen made her way to town where she saw Elena near her car that had been parked in front of the diner as she packed some flashlights into her backpack.

"Elena!" she called as she made her way to her "Can we talk?"

"Is there a problem?" she asked, not knowing who he really was.

"Oh no uh, I couldn't stop thinking about your situation and I wanted to explore more about your vision."

"I think we need to-" she said as she put her backpack into her car "Things have change."

"They have?" she said surprised.

"Yeah there was another savior who came before me, and get this, he's alive."

She then got into her car as the Evil Queen spoke to her through the opened window.

"There's another savior?" she asked surprised.

"I think you may know him, name's Aladdin, he made it, which means he's alive hopefully. But if he is, maybe the vision doesn't matter, maybe all Saviors don't die. And that means it's okay to tell my friends, because there's nothing to tell. See yah."

And with that she started her car and took off, leaving the Evil Queen wondering more about this vision and this other Savior.

Now at the little farm house, after making sure that no one was watching him, Wendell made his way inside as he closed the door. But as he head into the dining room, he was surprised to see Danny who was bounded to a chair and a cloth had been tied around his mouth.

"Whoa" Wendell gave a chuckle as he went up to him "Long time no see Daniel, did Mira's evil twin do this?"

He took the cloth out of Danny's mouth.

"Just let me go" Danny begged "Please."

"Well-" Wendell chuckled again "As evil as she is, there's usually a reason."

"You don't have to listen to her, you don't have to be in her shadow."

"Oh I'm not in her shadow, because I'm not exactly working for her, well unless she really needs my help and all, but I'm my free person now. And thanks to her, I can once again do the thing that I love most."

At that point Danny's eyes widen.

"No" he gasped.

"That's right" Wendell smirked "And if you try to go against me, I can actually kill you this time. In fact, I can kill you right now."

Danny felt his heart pound with fear.

"But I'm not going to" Wendell added "Well not yet, mainly because I don't know where to start. Should I kill you first so Brooke can suffer, or should I just go ahead and kill her first?"

"Don't you dare go near her" Danny growled.

"Oh relax, I'm not gonna do it now. And besides, what can you do? The Evil Queen blocked your magic with those special cuffs, and as long as I'm here, you can't do anything about it."

"I may not be able to stop you, but everyone knows that you're free, and I know that Brooke and Delilah can beat your ass."

"I'd like to see them try" Wendell smirked as he slipped the gag back into Danny's mouth "Now if you would excuse me, I got a plan to think about."

And with that he headed into the living room, leaving Danny hoping that Brooke and Delilah will be able to stop Wendell before he gets to them.
