Ch.32 Broken promise

Jackson stood there surprised after watching Hyde get sucked into Pandora's Box by Holt.

"You okay?" Holt asked him.

"Yeah I'm fine" Jackson assured "Thank you. What is that?"

"Pandora's Box, Cupid gave it to me so I can use it to stop my dad."

"But how did you know where I was?"

"We're the same person remember? It's like half of my brain is yours. I didn't know where you were at first, I searched the places where you would most likely be. But when I couldn't find you, I decided to look at the places where you would least likely be, and this was number 2."

"What was number 1?"

"Music classroom."

"That's true."

Holt then looked at Pandora's Box.

"I don't know what I'm gonna do with this now" he sighed.

"Let's just give it to Cupid, she'll know what to do. And now that Hyde's gone-".

Jackson then picked up the baton along with the serum that had fallen out from Hyde's pocket.

"We can tell everyone and those from the Land of Untold Stories not to worry anymore."

"Yeah but the Evil Queen is still loose" Holt put in.

"Oh, well we'll worry about that later."

"You know I gotta say, I think being separated from you was a good idea, I mean if it wasn't for me, you would of been dead by now."

"Yeah" Jackson agreed "Thanks again."

"No problem" Holt smiled as they headed off.

Now at the park, Jasmine sat on a bench with a sad look as she looked at the scarab charm while thinking about Aladdin, knowing that she'll never see him again.

"Hey there princess" she suddenly heard a familiar voice that made her heart jump.

She turned and couldn't believe her eyes when she saw Aladdin standing near her with a small smile on his face.

"Aladdin?" she gasped.

"Hi Jasmine" he smiled.

At that point she gave a big smile as she ran up to him and into a hug.

"I thought you were dead" she said as she felt her eyes water.

"I thought I've never see you again" he said as they then pulled away "So now what?"

"Now you need to help me, that's why Gigi, Whisp and I have been searching for you."

"Gigi and Whisp are here too?" he said surprised.

"Yeah they weren't gonna let me search for you on my own. Anyway, Agrabah is in terrible danger, and we need the Savior."

"Yeah..." he said with a guilty look "About that..."

Once she went back to her house, Elena showed everyone the shears as Mira examined them.

"A pair of scissors" she said "Why does magic have to be so literal?"

At that point Aidan and Darling entered.

"We came as soon as we could" he said.

"Well?" Brooke asked them.

"Still no sign of Danny" Darling said with disappointment.

Brooke gave a sad sigh.

"But Lauren and Delilah are still looking for him" Aidan put him.

"Are those-?" Darling pointed to the shears.

"Yeah" Terrence said "They are."

"Look I brought those here because I'm done with secrets-" Elena said "But I don't want to use them."

"What?" Olivia gasped.

"Just hear me out, Aladdin didn't trust the people he loved and that's why he failed, but I believe in us and we'll find a third way, it's what we do. But if we don't, and my magic does come with a price, then I'll pay it. A Savior is what I am, but I am also part of a family."

Olivia then put her hand on Elena's shoulder.

"Well I choose to believe in us too" she said.

"We all do" Aidan said "We can protect you, and we can protect this town."

"If that's what you want-" Terrence said with a little sigh "Then I'm with you."

"Hey" Elena held his hand with a sad look "I'm sorry, I'm sorry I didn't trust you, no more secrets."

She then handed the shears to him.

"Take them" she ordered "I don't want them used as a weapon if they fell into the wrong hands, we need to get rid of them."

Even though he didn't want to get rid of them, Terrence didn't want to let Elena down. So later that night, he went the dock where he stood near the water just as Elena went up to him.

"So this is where you're going to get rid of them?" she asked.

"Yep" he said as he held up the shears "It's gonna be hard to look for something that's at the bottom of the ocean."

"Well alright then" she smiled "Let's do it."

He then turned to the water as he threw the shears ahead as they fell straight into the water.

"I know it's not far but the current will bring it into the deep" he assured.

Elena then put her hands on his shoulders as she leaned in and placed a kiss on his lips.

"Thank you" she smiled.

"Anything for you" he said with a small smile.

"Well in that case, how about we get something to eat? Oh since Cari Pillar is here, maybe we can get some Chinese food from her, Lauren told me that she's also a great cook."

"Sure, you go ahead, I'll catch up later, I kinda wanna stay here for a bit."

"Okay" she smiled "Just meet up at the diner."

And with that she headed off. But after making sure she was gone, Terrence bent down near the edge as he put his hand in the water and gave a wave. When he stepped back, he looked ahead and saw the pink head of Meeshell Mermaid, daughter of the Little Mermaid pop out from the water.

"You got them?" he asked.

"Right here" she held up the shears.

"Good, now I want you to hold onto them or hide them somewhere and make sure they stay hidden until further notice."

"Are you sure you want to do this?" she asked with an unsure look "I mean I know you don't want Elena to die, but she did tell you to get rid of them."

"I know" he sighed "And I don't like doing this to her, but I can't bear to let her die."

Meeshell then gave a sigh.

"Alright" she said "I know a place to keep them hidden."

"Thank you Meeshell."

And with that she dove into the water as her blue mermaid tail splashed behind. After that, Terrence gave another sigh with a guilty look, he really didn't want to let Elena down, but he also couldn't stand seeing her die in her future.
