Hailee and Rose start to examine my closet looking for an outfit for the bonfire tonight. They come out of my closet carrying a very comfortable looking outfit.

They smiled and begin to dress me making sure the camera and microphone were well hidden.

They curl my hair and then put it in a nice pony tail making, sure it's kind of messy.

"Laura, can I just say, you look totally really nice." Rose winked at me.

I started to laugh and so did the girls. My phone began to ring, so I walk over to it and see an unknown number. I look back to the girls and they were telling me to answer.

I click the green button on the screen and say, "Hello?"

"Hey, Laura." The mysterious person says.

"Who's this?" I ask.

"Shawn. I wanted to know if you were coming to the bonfire."

I put my phone on speaker and mouth to Hailee and Rose, 'Shawn'.

"I told you. You need to got and find out." I teased.

"Alright, but if you made me waste my gas to go to this thing, just to find out that you aren't there, then you owe me a date. Deal?"

"Mmm..." I looked at Hailee's face and she mouthed, "Tease a little."

"We'll see. You can't control what I do and don't do, but you should go. Maybe you'll be surprised." I say.

"A teaser huh? Alright then. I'll go and check it out." He hung up and I burst out laughing.

I stepped onto the sand with my bare  feet, holding my booties in one hand to prevent the sand going into them. I had taken off my jacket because Hailee had told me too, so he could offer me his.

As I walk people start to greet me. I don't know why, but they are.

I see Shawn smirking his life out, and then he flashes his billion dollar smile at me.

When I reach him he wraps one arm around me sending chills through my body.

"I'm glad you came." He says.

"I told you you'd be surprised." I tease.

We walked in silence for a bit. People greeting us and coming up to me to hug me or whisper in Shawn's ear or when we passed guys they would make a comment like 'nice' or 'get it'.

Shawn made a comment about how he is on a date with the most popular girl in the school, when really he knew it was the other way around.

"Okay so you aren't really a big talker," he said, "Fine don't talk let's just turn around and enjoy the view." I look at him strange since the sunset was in back of him.

"You know the sunset is over there right." I laugh.

He turns around and looks embarrassed and says, "Well you are the view."

I giggle a bit and feel my cheeks blushing but then I say, "Wow what a line."

I start to walk away but I see him approaching me so I begin to walk faster, until I begin to run away.

He runs up to me and then tackles me in a hug, and picks me off the ground making me laugh.

My marshmallow falls from the stick and I laugh. Shawn joins me by pressing his face against my hair and laughing. He had let me borrow his sweater since it was beginning to get chilly.

It had actually been a nice day. We talked a lot and he asked me questions vice versa, but I never asked about him being a playboy. I met his sister who bye the way is so beautiful. She made me feel so insecure.

I looked ahead and see Katherine eyeing me. She looked upset. I looked away from her and my smile had disappeared.

I turn around and see Shawn talking to his friend Jax. I interrupt him and say, "I think I'm gonna start heading home. My mom texted me that she was on her way home, so she wants to know if she can pick me up since she'll be passing the beach." I lie.

I get up but he calls me back. He says, "No. Call her and tell her that I'll take you home." I didn't know what to say. That's until I hear through the earpiece Rose and Hailee's voice whispering "Say yes."

"Okay then."

"Alright I'll go tell Jax to take Aaliyah home. You can meet me at my car. It's a black truck with a hockey stick decal." He handed me his keys and ran off.

I got on his car and waited. The girls had said earlier that if he tried to kiss me to avoid it, and that I had to do it so he knows who is boss. Or something like that. They rambled a lot.

He opens his door and gets on. He connects his phone to the AUX cable and it starts to play 'I Write Sins, Not Tragedies' by Panic at the Disco.

"Oh this is my song!" I exclaim in excitement.

"Really?" He said. He turned around and smiled at me as I began to sing. "I love this song too."

The songs continued to change one after another. I continued to sing, but every once in a while when I would turn around to face him while singing, he thought he would get the opportunity to kiss me.

He began to look very annoyed so I had to do something to keep him interested, so I would kinda... press my boobs against him.

We arrived at the apartment building. I saw Hailee and Rose running towards the building and to stop Shawn from turning around I quickly grabbed his face and connected my lips to his. Once he began to kiss back I felt electricity run through my body.

It's not that I felt attracted to him, it's just that I haven't had a kiss in 8 months.

I pull back from his soft lips but was still close to his face. Our heavy breathing stopped at the same time.

I got down the car, placing Shawn's jacket on the passenger seat. I felt his strong arm sling around my small body. He walked me to the elevator and tried kissing me once again.

I let him one last time, but he wanted access into my mouth but I didn't so I pull away before anything got too serious. "I don't want to speed things too fast."

The doors open and I go inside closing the doors automatically. He looked at me strange like it was his first date. I slid to the ground and bury my face in my head.

I don't know how I am going to keep it up. I don't lie. What if I fall in love? I doubt I will, but what if he does? What if I break him bad.

'Nah' I thought.

I walk into my apartment and change from my other clothes and into my pjs. I lay in my bed. Still thinking of what had happened. I need to keep it up and I'm gonna need help.
