Aaliyah runs up to me and hugs me. "So happy you could come over." She tells me.

"Well you practically begged me to come over. So what is it?" I asked.

"Not here. In my room."

I walk into their big blue house. It was like a mansion. The best of everything everywhere. Basically it was the perfect house to have a party.

I walk up the stairs and into her room. It was purple and enormous. Every girls dream bedroom. She has a make up station with the most expensive makeup you can find in Sephora and NYX.

I sat on her bed next to her. "So what is it?" I asked.

"Umm. I'm tired of hiding my relationship with Jax. I want to tell Shawn." She blurts out.

My eyes widen. "Oh my god. That's great. When?"

"Today. And Jax is on his way. We talked about it last night. More like argued, went back and for until we both agreed to telling him. Shawn is in his room."

"And you want me here?"

"Yes please. You're his girlfriend and you could convince him. Please."

She puppy dog faced me so bad. It never works on me but I really wanted this public so I don't have a secret to hid. I mean I'm carrying a big one already.

"Yeah okay."

A message comes in.

Chris 😄: hey are you coming over today. My mom wants to know just so we set up a place for you.

I smile. I always liked his mom. She was like the mother I never had. I mean I have a mom but her job has always been priority.

Laura: yeah. I'll be there around 6. See you later.

"Who are you texting?" Aaliyah asked.

"No one. Well Chris." I simply say.

"Hmm you two have been talking a lot."

I look at her tilting my head trying to see what she meant.

"Yeah I have. What are you trying to say?" I narrow my eyebrows.

"Nothing. Actually I'm trying to say that you two have been getting pretty close again and not like the friend type more like you want him back. You even act like a little girl blushing like her crush is texting her."

I chuckle, "Aaliyah come on. I am not doing that. We are just friends. We have history, and Shawn said he wouldn't be bothered by it."

"Well he is but I think he likes you so much that he doesn't say anything to avoid losing you. He talks about you so much. Also you text Chris way more than Shawn. You guys don't even text or talk at all. It's more like dates and stuff."

"Look Aaliyah, I get you but I'm not having this conversation with you. I'm not doing nothing wrong."

She was going to say something but was interrupted by the door bell. She walks out and I walk out behind her.
