"I feel bad for going to Shawn's." Laura said to the girls.

"What do you mean?" Katherine asked.

"Well that's what a girlfriend does and I'm only pretending to be his girlfriend." She felt a little weird saying that she was only pretending when in reality she did care the way an actual girlfriend did.

"But your basically still his girlfriend, in his eyes, so you will go." Katherine says.

It hurt Laura deeply when Katherine said that she was a girlfriend to his eyes because in reality she felt like she was truly his. She felt it in the way he touched her and made her feel safe. Yeah his bad boy side popped out but she knew he was changing.

"Okay so are you ready?" Rose asked her.

"Mm yeah. I guess."

"Okay so I'll meet you up at the party afterwards." Rose said.

Shawn had decided to throw his big New Years Party earlier since he wanted to spend quality time with his family that day, and maybe even invite Laura.

Katherine and Rose left Laura's apartment as they both had to get ready to go to the party.

Laura let out a sigh of relief. She felt so pressured and strange. She began to think about her safe place so she could calm down, but her safe place didn't pop into her head. It was only Shawn smiling as his curly brown hair fell down to his face and his eyes stared directly into her soul. The day at the beach.

She smiled and felt calmer. Shawn was now her safe place. She felt a warm feeling go through her body. It was comforting. Almost like Shawn was hugging her.

She shook the thought out of her head. She was falling for him. That wasn't supposed to happen. She wasn't supposed to fall in love. She was supposed to mess with him and make him fall in love with her not the other way around, but things changed he was different.

He didn't go around and fool around with other girls. He made her feel like she was the only one. That's what changed and made her feel safe in his arms. He became her safe place.

Like before she didn't want to do it anymore. She didn't want to ruin his life anymore. She felt to attached to him to do that to him.

She sat on her bed. Taken aback with what she was thinking and feeling. To stop thinking she went to go change into her beige long sleeved shirt paired with a burgundy circle skirt and leggings. She wore black booties. She then put on her navy blue jacket since it was really cold outside.

She let her hair fall as she finished curling her the last strand. She walked out of her room and into the living room. Surprisingly she saw her mother sitting there. She was hardly ever home. Always doing overtime at the hospital and volunteering everywhere se could.

"Hey." She awkwardly said.

"Hi. Where are you going so nicely?" Her mom asked.

"I'm going to my boyfriends dinner party." Her moms eyes quickly widen at the mention of a boyfriend.

"Wow you have a boyfriend?"
