While I waited for the head of the water element to reach the ocean, the sun rose in front of me. It seemed like an emerging fire ball from the cold water of the ocean - something extraordinary you wouldn't see everyday. My eyes were swollen because of the lack of sleep but they were completely awake as well, excited for the new lesson. I didn't realize when I started to fall in love with magic. But when today morning, Nick woke me up rudely for the training, it didn't feel so bad coming here with the asshole and then waiting alone. As soon as I saw the ocean, my body felt energized. The feeling that I would be a water tamer was vigorous inside me. I was so sure of it!
Besides, I didn't expect an ocean named "Andros" in the angel world.
I wondered what more I had to yet discover about this vast universe.

"You seem deep in thoughts. Am I disturbing?" A childish yet deep voice echoed from behind. The heavy accent and the charm in the voice impressed me. I turned towards the person, seeing a goofy looking sixteen year old guy behind me. My eye sockets just fell off!

"What? Why are you so amazed to see me? Weren't you expecting me?" He took a step back, interrogating like an interviewer.

"No...no!" I stammered. "It's just that I expected a person much older than you."

I stood up to move closer to him, giving him a wide smile. We shook hands and he chuckled lightly.

"I can understand. But what can I say, my father trained me so well even teachers watch me tame water in awe!" He flew above, saying.

Then, with a swish he reached above the ocean, making patterns in the air with his hand. As he drew those patterns, the water of the ocean came up on its own becoming exactly like those patterns. My mouth dropped open.

"Wow...this is...." I was out of words, seeing a guy younger than me do magic that's so tough.

Shaking my head with a silly grin on my face, I flew towards him. He continued making bigger patterns, making the dangerous water of the ocean form into shapes and designs that made my eyes melt. It looked so beautiful to the naked eye that my subconscious was jumping to do the same. The water was literally flying in the air beside him now - like it had life inside it.

"Teach me how to do that..." I insisted.

"I will. First, at least learn to bring it up." He clicked his fingers together and the water splashed down on the surface.

"...and how do I do that?" I asked.

"Oh, first of all, I am Mac. Nice to meet you, Aviana." He introduced himself after five minutes of our meeting. His attention was now fully diverted towards me. It seemed like he was out of his trance that captivated him when he was performing the magic.

"Same here, Mac. Please continue..." I impatiently pushed.

"Draw your energy..." He commanded.

I took a deep breath, closing my eyes and fisting my palms to concentrate. Feeling the energy and power gather inside me, I was burning with the fuel of my magic.

"Now, chant mediocris aqua." he whispered.

"Mediocris aqua." I powerfully chanted, listening to my teacher who was most probably younger than me.

Within a moment, the sound of stirring of water reached my ears. Gasping and in great astonishment, I turned my head downwards and watched as the little bit of water just below me stirred a bit and then a bundle of it flew upwards, surrounding and protecting me like a blanket. The transparent water was still around me as I looked at Mac with my eyes widened out. I didn't get wet by the water, just surrounded. Mac gave me a look of appreciation and like the little girl I always become when my magic works, I giggled.
