The first thing I felt when I woke up in a different world altogether the other morning was awkwardness. I was in a mystical world in a house that was owned by not so friendly acquaintance of mine who was probably naked in his room with his girlfriend. How could I not feel awkward about this?
Stepping into denial mode, I went in the bathroom to freshen up. I did my morning business, brushed my teeth, washed my face, combed my hair and applied some weird perfume thingy to make myself look presentable enough. Then I sat on the bed with crossed legs, staring at the front wall.
After probably five seconds, I got bored.
So, I figured I'll have to do something productive by myself only. I walked out of the guest room and moved my eyes around around, finding a staircase at the end of the left sided corridor. Curiously, I went up from there and kept climbing the stairs till I reached the terrace.
When I was standing on the terrace, the morning heat making me feel fresh and breezy I decided this was a good time to practice the flying spell again.
I stood in the middle and shut down my eyes, relaxing my body. And then I mumbled the spell and found myself in the air. I was so overjoyed that I did it without any difficulty and in my first attempt. I got overly excited and in glee, I started moving my hands and legs to just dance in the air. Surprisingly, that taught me another thing. When I extended my right arm towards the right, my body was pushed towards the right in the air only. The same happened when I lunged my left arm in the left direction. I grinned that I learned something by myself!

"What the hell are you doing?" All my joy broke when I heard Nick's unfortunate and unhappy voice.

I whipped eyes towards him and glared at him, slowly landing on the ground.

"Practicing." I snapped.

"Well, stop it. We're going to the town's main market." He told me, turning around and leaving from the door again.

"Main market, why?" Following him, I queried.

"King's orders," he sighed and said. "After that, we're visiting the palace for lunch. Breakfast is this chocolate roll." He took out a chocolate roll from his coat pocket and offered it to me. Gloomily, I snatched it from him taking a bite.

"Anything that's called food will be fine by me." I muttered sarcastically.

The magical town was an amazing one. The streets, the people, the weather - everything was just so beautiful. This might even sound stupid but it all seemed familiar to me. I loved just walking there, glancing around and smiling at random strangers. Nick, being an arrogant dick, walked before me not even bothering to say hello to anyone.
After a while of walking on the main streets, I noticed there were no, absolutely no vehicles over here. I could see no cars, no bikes, nothing!
And then I realized that was because they could do magic and could fly! These new facts were really fun to comprehend.

Nick suddenly took a left turn into a really small lane. He tilted his head a bit towards me, looking if I was coming after him. I made a face and moved my feet after him inside the narrow lane. After a minute of lazily strolling, we came to a stop in front of a big shop. It was like an open room, filled with different kinds of weapons. I figured we came here to buy some.

"This is Princess Aviana, Lorraine." Nick smiled at the middle aged lady standing at the side which I guessed was the owner of the shop.

"Princess," she bowed down in front of me, smiling in utmost gladness.

I just passed her an uncomfortable smile, saying "Pleasure to meet you. Just call me Aileen,"

Nick glared at me when I said that and I just simply ignored him.

"She's learning magic, as I told you. We would like to buy essentials for that. Ugh, I mean give me the stuff you sell to the school children for their beginner magic lessons." Nick talked to her while I took the time to observe the weird looking weapons in the shop.
But, what I heard shocked me.
