It Won't Be a Secret, Dumbass

"Haha, very funny," you said sarcastically, narrowing your eyes at the boy was bothering you again.

He flipped down from the branch that he was hanging from, landing gently in front of you. "What? I'm not joking you know, I'm very serious," he said, staring at your face intently.

"Sure. Coming from the boy who has multiple girlfriends and says cringy monologues. And I thought I told you to stop bothering me. How did you escape anyway?" you asked, rolling your eyes.

He put a finger to his lips. "Everyone has their secrets. You interested?"

You smirked, leaning back on the trunk of the tree. "It won't be a secret anymore if you tell me, dumbass," you said smugly.

He looked a bit taken aback at your comment but smirked, moving to sit next to you. You shifted away from him, uncomfortable— annoyed at the sudden invasion of personal space. "You mind?" you said perversely. He shook his head, grinning. You were about to smack him when you felt a pair of eyes glare in your direction. Looking up, you saw Elizabeth standing by the window, her arms crossed.

Her expression amused you and you smirked, wanting to see her get more pissed. Turning to Jimin, you quickly shifted attitudes and gave him a kiss on the cheek. He quickly jumped back, holding his cheek in surprise. You smiled at him, looking back at Elizabeth, who was flaming.

Winking at her, you stood up and patted your uniform down, taking your bag and leaving a shocked Jimin under the tree.

Back in the classroom, you prepared for physical education, putting on your gym uniform. Opening your bag to put your uniform in, you found a bunch of trash in it. 'Typical bullying methods,' you thought to yourself. Boring~. Dumping out the trash and wiping it the best you could, you used a handy towel to cover the inside of the bag before placing your uniform inside.

Slamming your locker shut, you made sure to lock it tightly before heading out into the gymnasium. You held a hair tie in your mouth as you combed through your hair with your hands. Finishing the messy ponytail, you took your seat on the floor as you listened to the directions provided by the instructor.

"Great. Basketball," you thought, scornful that you had to play a sport that involved running and sweating. Your attention was suddenly directed to a certain area of the gym when you heard cheering. Elizabeth was playing a game with Jimin and the boys, and it seemed that she was good. The corner of your mouth twitched as you were called to stand with the group of girls who were cheering. Spotting you from the corner of his eye, Jimin gave you a small wink before going back to his game.

"Great, lover boy's recovered from the small incident. Rather quickly too," you thought, crossing your arms as you watched their movements intently. No matter how good Elizabeth was, she ended up losing to Jimin and the other boys.

Jimin's POV

You were sweating when the game ended. Thankful that you won against the girl who was famous for being a Charm in your class, you wanted to take a break. That is until the boys in your team arrogantly asked if anyone was willing to challenge them. You were about to walk away, thinking that no one was going to take up people who beat a Charm until you heard the other guys in the gym cheer.

You looked back and your eyes widened. Taejun had silently raised her hand as her sharp eyes pierced into yours. You gulped, nervous of challenging the girl that piqued so much interest in you, but ultimately smiled when you saw her smile confidently. Accepting the challenge, the boys stood in their positions. She stepped forward and took her place on the court, allowing you to check the ball to her. As soon as the ball was in her hands, her smile fell and her eyes concentrated. In a flash, she dribbled past your teammates and jumped, shooting the ball perfectly into the hoop. Your teammates didn't even have time to register what happened until the instructor shouted "1-0!"

Amazed at the girl's skill, the corner of your lip curved upward in a grin. Now this was a game that was worth playing. But even at your hardest, you had a hard time playing against the girl. Her moves were smooth and she herself, was eye-catching, not to say the least. The other boys in the gymnasium chanted her name, cheering as she made many shots in a row. By the end of the game, your entire team including yourself was tired and panting. Taejun had won by a landslide. As the sweat dripped off of her hair, you could not help but notice the way her breath seemed to heave and the way her muscles were defined more clearly as she bent over, clutching her knees.

Smirking, you grabbed a bottle and towel. "Taejun, catch!" you shouted as you threw the bottle and towel towards her. She caught them both in a flash, looking at you with irritability in her eyes once again. But she nodded her thanks, wiping her sweat and drinking the water after.

Later on in the day, you caught up to her again. She was staring intently into the trash bin in the courtyard. You were about to make a flirtatious move again when you stopped, noticing her dark aura. She looked like she was about ready to rage war at the trash bin. Peering into the trash bin from over her shoulder, you saw what she was staring so intently at. A book that was graffitied and torn had been thrown in the trash bin. You wondered why she was staring so intently at the book until you realized that it's torn cover was the same as the book that she held in her hands all the time.

You heard her sigh and stand up, causing her to bump into you. You took a step back as she slowly turned around, her jaw clenched; her lips pursed. She looked about ready to punch the shit out of someone. But realizing it was just you, she sighed, fatigued. She didn't even care to glance at you a second time as she picked up her bag tenderly and walked past you toward the school gates.

Taejun's POV

The previous day was utter hell. Not only did you have to explain to your mom that your childhood book had been trashed but you also had to practice the rules of controlling your Charm. You thought it was complete and utter bullshit, knowing who did it. But what evidence did you have against that smug blonde bitch? Nothing. So waking up the next morning felt like a thousand stones weighed you down. But you knew better than to ditch school. So reluctantly, you got dressed and headed downstairs where breakfast sat waiting. Taking in the usual empty dining room, you sighed. How long has it been since it had been filled with liveliness? Your two older brothers were hauled off to work for the league since they were discovered, leaving you and your mom alone. Not to mention that your idiot of a father worked for the league, dragging your innocent younger brothers to work with him in that life.

How much you missed your 5 brothers, even if they were loud and noisy. Sighing, you sat down to eat your breakfast. Seeing you sigh at the table, your mother walked over to you and planted a kiss on your temple, patting your head.

"You still miss them don't you?" she asked softly.

"If I said I didn't, I'd be lying mom," you replied, eating your breakfast. She chuckled, placing her chin in her palm as she watched you eat. Once you were done, you excused yourself from the table and took your lunch, heading to the door. But before you left, you turned to give your mom a kiss on the cheek.

"Try to enjoy yourself at school. Get a boyfriend. Befriend some people," she said as she watched you leave. You laughed, "In a million years mom."

As you walked through the front gates of the school starting another shitty day, you had no idea what event was going to plague you.
