So this chapter takes place before Taejun is sent to the league. It will explain why Jimin is so attached to her even though it seems like they've only met for a short time.

"Taejun! Wait up!" yelled Jimin who was running down the hall towards Taejun, frantically waving both his hands.
Taejun heard his call but rolled her eyes, ignoring him as she walked towards her next class. The boy seemed almost out of breath as he had been chasing after the intriguing girl throughout the whole morning; with no result. As she opened the door to her classroom, he managed to catch up to her, taking her hand in his. At the sudden touch, Taejun whipped her hand away, nearly smacking the face of the idol.
"What do you even want you ass?!" she shouted, attracting the attention of fellow schoolmates who were lingering in the hallway.
Hearing her loud shouts, he instinctively brought his hand up to her mouth, putting a finger to his lips to signal silence. Her eyes bulged in fiery anger as her muffled shouts roared from behind his hand as he led her to a secluded hallway. Once they reached the hallway, she ripped his hand away from her mouth, continuously glaring at him the whole time. Looking at the displeasure that played itself across her face, he smiled a little, finding it cute.
"Why do you keep on bothering me?! I thought I told you to stop!" she quietly shouted as she flung her arms around in a crazed motion.
"I just wanted to ask if you wanted to walk home together today," Jimin said, scratching the back of his head as he gave her his brightest smile. At his words, Taejun was nearly put in cardiac arrest. Collecting herself, she began to shout.
"ARE YOU FUCKING INSANE?! YOU CHASED AFTER ME THE WHOLE MORNING TO—," she cut herself off as she brought a hand to her temple in frustration. "You know what, do what you want," she said, an angered smile plastered across her face. At this point, she couldn't give two shits. If this is what it was going to take for him to stop bothering her, then she could care less.
And so, the day passed by and Jimin joined up with her after school ended, walking steadily by her side. She didn't even care to take a glance at him; only focusing on getting home as soon as possible. As she quickened her steps, Jimin began to talk.
"So, how was your day?" he asked, the question bland and dull.
At that, she stopped in her tracks and turned to glare at him. "Oh, I don't know, maybe apart from the fact that a crazy ass chased after me this morning to ask if we could walk home together, my day was just great," she said sarcastically, seething through her teeth.
He chuckled and rubbed the back of his neck. "Sorry," he muttered.
Pouting, Taejun replied, "You should be."
The two walked in silence until once again, Jimin spoke up. He began to ask about the book, in which Taejun avoided answering his questions apart from the fact that she carried it around a lot. After that conversation, the silence remained until the two stopped at Taejun's house.
"Bye," she muttered before walking to the front door. He waved, saying a quiet goodbye before turning towards the street again and walking towards his own home. As Taejun opened the door, she saw her mother standing in the doorway, in awe at what she just saw.
"Taejun, who was that handsome boy? Is he your boy—?" she began to speak but was cut off by Taejun's raised hand. Looking towards her mother, she quickly said no before politely excusing herself from her mother's presence.
