Taejun's POV
It had been a year since she was found out and dragged into this half-baked "heroes" league, and still, Taejun had not grown accustomed to it. She hadn't even grown accustomed to the new name that she was given upon entering the league.
Mary. Derived from the myths of Bloody Mary, her boss had given this name to her when she overlooked her paperwork. Seeing as how she nearly killed several of her schoolmates in cold blood, her boss thought that it was quite an appropriate name to describe the newfound pyromaniac annihilator.
"So your name's Jung Taejun, huh?" said the young woman who's outfit was adorned in mechanical parts. You nodded stiffly, finding it awkward to stand in front of this woman who wore strange garments.
"Hm...found in a pile of her classmate's near corpses," the lady read, her eyes skimming along the edges of the paper. Your eyes widened, suddenly enraged that the league had described your condition in that way. But your thoughts were interrupted by the laughing of the lady.
Looking at your raging form, she wore a big grin on her face when telling you it was a joke. Reacting to her words, your near bloodshot eyes found it in themselves to glare at her. But she continued to laugh, thinking your reaction was funny.
That was how you met BOSS, your literal boss. A metal manipulator, she was found by the league manipulating the magnesium present in criminal's bodies. Labeled as the first highly dangerous Charm, she joined the league at the age of 5, making her the HD sect's prominent leader. But even with all the recognition, she was in your eyes, the most idiotic of all of HD sect. Lazy and stubborn, she was almost like a stereotypical sloth—making you do the paperwork.
Apart from her was Same(Sa-meh) derived from the word Somnolence, Puppet Master, and Necromancer. Same joined the league when she was 9 years old for using her Charm of eternal sleep on her friend during a small argument. Puppet Master joined the league a month after you, a middle schooler sent to the league for using his mind control Charm on a corporate leader. Lastly was Necromancer, who joined the league after BOSS.
Although the question of how he came to the league was brung up by the members several times, he always dodged the question. But one thing was for sure. If you were a Charm and pissed him off but survived, you were lucky.
The Charm of Death. Necromancer was labeled as the most dangerous Charm across Korea. But that didn't stop you from making witty remarks and dissing him when the two of you first met. But even then, he still loved your Charm and deemed you his favorite, which made things a lot difficult for you when it came to terms of pleasing his "fans". Thankfully, Same's quiet presence drove off most of them, as she stuck by your side the most.
But then came time for the "hero outfit". Even the words wanted to make you cringe, but BOSS encouraged you to do it. Since it was a fresh start on a new life, you cut off your hair until it was above your neck. A cat ear hood, which had braids of wool extending from the ends, a yukata-poncho combination worn outside a black spandex top on the inside, black tights, and combat boots, your outfit was in your eyes, outrageous to say the least.
But apparently, it was liked by the other members, which made you question their sanity. At first, you were adamant to not conform with the league's "policies". But after futile resistance, you were forced to accept the fact that you were most probably going to spend the rest of your meaningless life here. This tore away at the once sarcastic, sassy, and rebel-like personality of yours, reducing it to an introverted shell of a person once named "Taejun". As the days passed and the year went by, you could slowly feel the person they once called Jung Taejun slipping away and turning into the person the league called "Mary".

Jimin's POV
You had used all the methods you could possibly utilize as an idol to meet Taejun again. Now finally, you were standing in the hallway of the top floor of the building, searching for the room sect. in which she was. Convincing your superiors and government officials was hard enough, but now you had to find a girl who you hadn't met in the course of a year in a building that seemed almost as large as the grand canyon.
Standing in one of the many hallways of the top floor, you looked around awkwardly, confused at your position. Pulling out the map, you looked at it while walking and accidentally bumped into a blonde-haired man in a suit. He stepped back, surprised at the sudden collision. Looking at him, your only thoughts were: "How does this guy look more handsome than me?"
"Sorry, my bad. Didn't look where I was going. Are you okay?" he asked, his voice smooth like butter.
"Y-Yeah, I'm fine," you replied, a bit taken aback by the man's appearance.
"You look like you're lost, who are you looking to see?"
"Is there a person named Jung Taejun here?" you asked, rubbing the back of your neck.
An awkward silence later, you felt yourself being lifted up. The jovial man that wanted to help you was now pinning your form up against the wall. His expression changed drastically from care to hatred and suspicion. Looking down at his hand which was on your collar, you saw a red glow coming from it. One word raced through your mind in that moment. Danger.
"Why do you want to see Taejun, you punk?" he asked harshly, his words seething.
But before you could answer, you were interrupted by a more gentle voice from a few feet away.
"Edward! Put him down! What are you doing to a human?! You know they can't defend themselves!"
Glancing to the side, you spotted an albino male dressed in a yukata, his face ridden with anxiety. But you suddenly felt the grip around your collar growing stronger, directing your attention away from the albino and back to the blonde who was near choking you. But as you made eye contact, the blonde dropped you to the floor, eyes narrowing at your figure. You gulped as you sat there, dumbfounded at the event that just took place. The albino male quickly approached you and helped you up, making sure you were okay.
"Please excuse my brother, he's a bit edgy when it comes to boys asking forTaejun," he said, giving a gentle smile.
"What does a boy even want with Taejun? Don't tell me she's dating this fuckboy, Suzuku?" commented Edward, who was still sulking.
"Edward, he's just a useless human. Do you think Taejun's stupid enough to date someone like this?" replied Suzuku harshly. Your only thought as the man named Suzuku dissed you was: "Tough crowd."
When they finally stopped bickering, they turned their attention back to you. As Edward eyed you suspiciously he asked,"What do you want with Taejun? What do you want with our sister?"
At his words, you were weirdly not flabbergasted at all. As you looked from Suzuku back to Edward, you realized that they were very similar to the girl you wanted to find. One was irritable and the other plain savage. No wonder they were siblings.
But as you continued to look at the two, you wanted more than ever to find the girl that possessed these traits—because she was the only one who would bring you here. She was the only one who you wanted to chase.
