The next morning, we called the police. The cops went to go arrest my dad but he was nowhere to be found. We called his friends and his work but there was nothing. I really wanted my revenge but i learned to let it go.
I was sitting in the guest room at jaden's house, where ive been staying for the last week now, and then my aunt called me.
Me: hello
Aunt: nylah we heard whats goin on down there. Are you okay?
Me: im fine aunt karen dont worry
Aunt: where have you been staying
Me: ive been staying at my boyfriend's with his parents.
Aunt: your staying at your boyfriends house???
Me: yes everythings gotten back to normal
Aunt: well we talked to someone and me and uncle mark are your legal guardians now. You get to come live with us in new york.
Me: new york? I cant go.
Aunt: and why not
Me: i have friends here. Im a backup dancer for willow smith. I cant just drop everything to go live with you. I have a life...
Aunt: im sorry, but with everything going on down there, you gonna need family. Were your family. You'll love it in new york. You can make new friends
Me: i dont wanna make new friends. I like it down here. Idc about what ive been going through lately. Ive been dealing with my dad for the last six years. Im not leaving
Aunt: yes you are. Your flights in tw days so you better start packing
Me: im not leaving!!!
Aunt: im afraid you dont have a choice
She hung up after that. I couldnt leave now. Just because of one little problem that ive been with almost my whole life, she thinks i can just come live with her. Jaden and my relationship is finally back on track and i wasnt going to let it crash and burn again. I have friends and a life. Im not gonna leave that in two days.
When i was thinking to myself willow barged into my room.
Willow: hey wanna go to the beach
Me: actually im a little tired
Willow: are you feeling good
Me: yea
Willow: whats wrong
Me: nothing everythings great
Willow: nic-
Me: just promise me no matter what we'll always be friends.
Willow: whats going on-
Me: promise?!?!
Willow: okay we'll always be friends... i promise
I gave her a big hug and then she left to go to the beach with her friends. I laid back and went to sleep hoping that this was all a big dream.

When i woke up it was about 12 am. I decided to go downstairs and get something to eat. I went to the pantry and grabbed some chips. When i came out jaden was standing in front of me.
Me: *screams*
Jaden: shh everybodys asleep
Me: why arent you
Jaden: i was going to your room but i heard you down here. I havent seen you all day
Me: sorry ive been sleeping
Jaden: why are you so tired
Me: no reason... did you have fun at the beach
Jaden: it was okay but it would have been more fun if you were there
Me: i have to tell you smething
Jaden: what is it
Me: i really appreciate what you and your family have done for me this past week, i really do. But i cant stay here anymore
Jaden: what do you mean. My parents said you can stay here as long a youd like
Me: my aunt called today to tell me that shes my legal guardian.
Jaden: ???
Me: and i have to go live with her
Jaden:???
Me: in new york
Jaden: new york?!?! You cant leave now. You have everything here in l.a. Why would you wanna leave
Me: i dont wanna go but i have to
Jaden: No you dont. Stay here with me. I love you so much. Just stay here
Me: i would but my aunt doesnt see it that way. I have to go
Jaden: when do you go
Me: i get on a plane in two days
Jaden: so we only have two days to see goodbye
Me: its not like we wont ever see each other again
Jaden: i hate this.
Me: i dont wanna go either
He pulled me into his arms and hugged me close to his body. At that moment, i felt like crying because i knew it would be a long time before we ever saw each other again. We ealked back upstairs to our rooms and kissed before we went back to bed. This would not be easy...
