When i woke up i got a shower and brushed my teeth. I got dressed in a purple tank top, denim shorts, and threw on my black sperrys. I decided to start packing since i would be leaving tomorrow. When i had half of my things packed someone knocked on my door. I opened it and saw willow standing there and i let her in. Her eyes were red and she look exhausted.
Me: willow, have you been cying
Willow: yes
Me: why
Willow: your leaving
Me: who told you
Willow: jaden did. Why didnt you say something
Me: idk
Willow: please dont go
Me: i have to
Willow: no you dont. Youre my best friend in the whole entire world. You cant leave!
Me: i dont wanna leave but my aunt and uncle want me there with them.
Willow: but im gonna miss you so much
We hugged and then we started to cry. I would miss everything about her. Shes crazy, wild, and so loveable. If i could have a say in this i would stay here in l.a where i belong. After several minutes of crying i finally convinced her to let me pack my stuff. When i was done jaden's mom came to see.
Jada: hi nylah. Jaden tells me youre leaving
Me: my aunt and uncle are my legal guardians now and i have to go live with them
Jada: its been great having you here. Everyone is going to miss you
Me: i'll miss them too. Thank you for what youve done for me. I appreciate it very much.
Jada: it was nothing. Think of it as a returned favor
Me: returned favor?
Jada: you've been keeping willow out of trouble ever since you became her friend. Jaden's always in a good mood now and he actually smiles. Idk what will happen when you leave
Me: i hope everything will be okay
Jada: me too. I guess i'll leave you to yourself now. We just want you to know you always have a home here
I thanked her again and she left. I walked across the hall to jaden's room and he was laying on his bed listening to music. He had his beats headphones plugged in and his back was to me. I snuck up behind him and snatched them off his head. When he turned around and looked at me he motioned for me to sit down.
Me: hey wryd
Jaden: nothing
Me: why do you sound so sad
Jaden: do i even have to say it
Me: jaden... i can take everybody else being sad but not you. Can we just make the best of it while im here
Jaden: okay what do you wanna do
Me: idc
Jaden: come on then
We left the house and walked to the beach. We held hands and walked along the boardwalk.
Jaden: so you leave tomorrow
Me: yea i guess so
Jaden: and theres no way that you can stay
Me: if there was i would take it
Jaden: everythings gonna be different now
Me: no it won't
Jaden: you'll be thousands of miles away. What if our relationship doesnt work out
