Chapter 71

~Skipping a few weeks~

Raelynn's POV ~

"Aubrey seems to be doing better." I said.

"I'm glad i just wish i was here more for support." Dylan said. I rolled over onto my side to face him. The early morning sun shining through the window.

"Soon, its August so only about a month left till you're on break!" I said excitedly.

The alarm went off again. It read 6:35am. I looked at Dylan who smiled softy. He pecked me on the nose and got up. Kaden was coming down this weekend. Aubrey seems to be doing pretty well here. I still feel awful for her. Dylan came back from the bathroom. He had taken like the worlds fastest shower. I missed his longer hair because when he would get out of the shower his hair would lay flat and wet on his head. You could run your fingers through it and it would stick up. It was cute, but with the shaved head you can't do that. He had a towel wrapped around his waist. His toned body, his arm muscles ahh! I walked up behind him and hugged him.

"Really no shirtlessness for you in this show?" I asked with a laugh.

"Really." He chuckled.

I let him go and he finished getting ready. I met Aubrey in the kitchen for breakfast. Dylan was running late and was gonna grab something on the way to work. It was nice out today so we planned on going to the beach for a little bit. All threw of us took Bella to the beach for the first time over the weekend. She loved it!

"Bella no!" I said. She was trying to eat sand. I brushed the sand off her hand and brought her back to the middle of the blanket under the shade. She quickly crawled back by the sand.

"She's quick!" Aubrey laughed.

"Come here you!" I laughed picking her up.

I put her on my hip. We walked down to the water. I placed Bella's feet on the wet sand. She can't stand yet so i was holding her hands. She wiggled her toes. When the water came up and splashed her feet she giggled. It was soo cute! Aubrey took a video and sent it to Dylan. I picked her up and spun her around. I loved days like this. I just wish Dylan could be here.

"Are you excited?" Aubrey asked.

"Excited for what?" I asked.

"The wedding duh!" She laughed. We were now eating lunch.

"Well of corse i am." I smiled.

"I'm soo excited for you guys i can't wait!" She squealed.

"Aww me too!!" I said.

"You i was worried for the longest time you two would never be together because you were both so scared to tell each other." She laughed.

"I was too haha." I said. "We should get going it's getting hot out."

"Okie dokie." Aubrey smiled.

We packed everything up. When we got in the car i cranked the air conditioner. I sat taking in the cool air for a minute. Aubrey's phone rang and it was Kaden. She answered it. As we started to drive i looked at the time. Dylan is almost on his lunch break by now.

"Aubs you mind if we stop by the set?" I asked.

"No." She smiled.

"They're almost done filming this scene they'll be out in a minute." The security guard smiled.

"Okie dokie thanks!" I said.

We went to the cafeteria and sat at a table. I was happy to surprise Dylan. There was a bell that rang. People started to come in. I saw Dylan and both Tylers get on line. I ran over and put my hands around Dylan's eyes.

"Guess who!" I said.

"Raebug." He laughed. He turned around placing his hands on my hips. He pressed his lips to mine. "Why didn't you tell me you were stopping by?" He smiled.

"I wanted to surprise you!" I laughed.

"Is Bella here?" He asked.

"Yes sir." I smiled. "Over there with Aubrey." I pointed. Aubrey waved at us. "Did you get the video?" I smiled.

"I got it but didn't watch it yet." Dylan smiled. We moved up in the line. "Are you guys hungry?" He asked.

"No we ate already." I said.

As he started to walk away i jumped on his back. He laughed at me. I rested my head on his shoulder. I kissed his neck and smiled. He got his food and we walked over to the table. He tried to take me off his back but i wouldn't let go.

"Rae!" Dylan whined.

"Dyl!!" I laughed.

I jumped off his back. I took Bella from Aubrey. Dylan came over and scoop her from my arms. He tickled her tummy and she giggled.

"My little Bellabear!" He said.

"20 minutes left for lunch Dballs." Posey said.

"Aw man!" He said sitting down. He kept Bella on his lap while he eat. She tried to grab at the hand that he was eating with.

"Bella! Do you want me to take her so you can eat?" I chuckled.

"No!! I miss my baby girl!" He whined then kissed the top of her head.

Once they finished with lunch Dylan brought us out to the car. Bella was getting winey cause it was time for her nap. Dylan put her in her carseat. He gave her her paci and rubbed her cheek. She fell asleep instantly. Quietly he closed the door. He leaned me up against the car. He smiled and kissed me. His hands placed tightly on my waist. My hands softly on his cheeks.

"Back on set!" Some dude came out and yelled.

"Uhh..." Dylan sighed pulling away from me.

"I'll see you later." I ran my fingers across the back of his neck.

"Love you." He smiled.

"Love you too." I said.

"Got any eights?" I asked.

"Go fish." Aubrey said. "Got any nines?"

"Here." I tossed her the card. She laid down another pair. "Dammit i didn't know i could suck so bad at a kiddie card game." I laughed. "Got any threes?"

"Hmmm humm!" She smiled handing me the card.

"Finally!" I laughed. She had like 8 matches and i just now had 3.

"Anybody still awake?" Dylan said as he walked in the door.

I jumped up from the table. I ran over and hugged him. I hadn't realized how late it actually was. He walked over and joined us at the table.

"Whatcha playing?" Dyl asked.

"Go fish." I laughed.

"I'm gonna go watch tv." Dylan said.

"Alright." I smiled.

Dylan's POV ~

I was soo tired when i got home. I couldn't sit at the table and watch them play the card game i was afraid i would fall asleep. I turned on the tv. Flicking through the channels there was like nothing on! It was almost 1 in the morning. After i was bored with all the stupid stuff on tv i got up to go to bed. I went to say goodnight to the girls. They both had their heads on the table fast asleep. I laughed at them. I picked Aubrey up and brought her in her room. Then i went back and picked up Raelynn. I laid her on the bed and i got changed. I carefully slipped under the covers trying not to wake her.

"Dyl?" Rae mumbled rolling towards me.

"Yes baby?" I whispered. No answer. It was silent i thought she had fallen back asleep.

"Stop!" She whined. "No!" She whined again.

"Raebug are you okay?" I asked. I saw tears running down her cheeks.

"Don't, please...." She cried. I rubbed my hand up and down her side.

"Shh baby its okay its just a dream." I said.

She was crying and mumbling other words i couldn't understand. It went on for a few minutes. I felt horrible so i decided to wake her up.

"Wake up Rae." I said.

I shook her by her shoulders lightly. She jumped up screaming. Her body was shaking, tears streaming down her face. I tightly wrapped my arms around her pulling her close to me. Her breathing was heavy and she was hysterical.

"Its okay, you're alright you're safe." I said rocking her back and forth.

She clung tight to my arm. A few minutes passed. Her breathing returning to normal. The shaking starting to stop. I wiped the tears from her cheeks. She quietly was still whimpering.

"Bad dream?" I asked. "You haven't had one in a while."

"Yeah.... It was scary." She buried her head in my chest.

"Well you're alright i promise. Want to talk about it?" I asked. I looked down at her, she shut her eyes.

"No..." She quietly spoke.

"Need anything?" I asked.

"I'm gonna go call Kaden." She said while getting up.

"If you need me i'll be here." I smiled softly. She nodded and left the room.

Raelynn's POV ~

~Phone Call~

"Hey, i didn't know whether to be worried or relieved it took so long for you to call. Was it bad?" Kaden said.

"Yeah.... Dylan was home when it happened this time, so it took longer for me to call." I sighed. I was sitting outside.

"What was it about?" He asked with a yawn.

"Are you tired? I could call you in the morning." I said.

"No no i'm fine i was waiting for you to call. You've called every night at around the same time for the passed two-ish weeks." He said.

"Sorry..." I shut my eyes.

"Its fine i want to make sure you're okay. I love you and don't want you upset. Have you told Dylan?" He asked.

"No."

"I think you should since he's there with you and i'm here far far away." Kaden chuckled. "What was it about this time?"

"I guess you're right and um... Dad again." I said.

"Like the others?"

"No... It was like a flashback kinda dream. Of that last night ya know before mom knew." I wiped the tears from my eyes.

"Well you just remember its only a dream and he can't hurt you anymore. By the way those stomach cramps of yours gone yet?" Kaden asked.

"Yeah i know... And ehh, they're not as bad as last week." I said.

"Good i hope they go away soon. But for now, I think we should both get some sleep." Kaden yawned. "Call me if you need anything. See ya in a few days! Love you."

"Thanks Kay, love you too bye."

~End of phone call~

I stood up to go back inside. Dylan was standing behind me. He had a saddened face. I sighed and walked passed him inside to the kitchen.

"So what did you hear?" I asked while pouring some juice.

"Pretty much everything. Why didn't you tell me?" He asked.

"You know why i didn't tell you." I said. He walked over, up behind me.

"Not if you don't tell me i don't know why you didn't tell me." He put his chin on my shoulder and kissed my neck. "Haha if that made sense." He chuckled.

"Dyl!" I whined/chuckled. "Cause i don't want to ruin the little time we have together."

"Raebug we talked about this when we were home. We have to be open with each other. If i don't know whats wrong i can't help fix it." Dylan said. "When did the dreams start again?"

"After i started getting these stomach cramps... About 2 weeks ago. They usually happen before you're home so that's why i didn't say anything." I said.

"Cramps?" He asked curiously.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Do, do you think?" He asked looking at my stomach and then back up to my face.

"No oh no. I couldn't be. Could i?" I thought about it.... Maybe?

"I mean we didn't." Dylan said.

"I know so i can't be." I said.

"Right.?" Dylan said kinda as a question.

"Right!" I assured him.

I turned around and looked at him. His big brown eyes staring back into my green ones. His hands on my hips. We both looked towards the bathroom. Then we looked back at each other. Both of us ran to the bathroom. I grabbed a test from under the sink. Dylan stayed in the bathroom with me. He turned around while i took the test.

"You're so weird!" I laughed.

"Why?" He chuckled.

"Cause you stayed in here with me." I said.

"Well last time i didn't get the chance." He said in defense putting his hands up.

"Right... Sorry babe." I said.

I finished and he turned around. Setting a 5 minute alarm like the box said. We stood there in the bathroom at like almost 2 in the morning. Those 5 minutes felt like a life time. Dylan's phone went off. I looked at him nervously. He leaned down an pressed his lips to mine.

"You know no matter what i am and always will be here for you." He smiled against my lips.

"I love you." I paused. "Lets do it together." I smiled.

Dylan nodded and smiled softly. His hand over mine. We reached down for the test. This little test. This little stick that i had to stick in pee! Ew... Could possibly dramatically change my life. I'm just not sure i'm ready for that yet. On the count of three we flipped it over.

"1, 2, 3..."
