Chatper 53

{Skipping to October}

Dylan's POV ~
Tomorrow is our 1 year anniversary. I still cant believe that im going out with the girl of my dreams. Im planning something really special for Rae. With it being senior year theres a lot of stress already but i know with the whole pregnancy its worse for Rae. I think shes handling it well though. Raelynn was staying at her house tonight and im gonna get her in the morning.

~Skipping to the morning~

Raelynn's POV ~
I woke up to my phone ringing, it was Dylan.

~Phone call~
"Hello?"

"Morning Rae"

"Morning Dyl"

"Ready for a fun day?"

"Yes! When are you coming?"

"When will you be ready?"

"Like 45 minutes..."

"Okay! See ya then. Love ya"

"Love ya too Dyl"

~End phone call~

I was just finishing getting ready when i heard the front door open.

"Im up stairs Dyl!" I yelled

"Okay!" He said and then i heard him running up the stairs. Just the thought of him made me smile. He came in just as i was putting my coat on.

"Im ready" i said

"Great" he said and walked over and picked me up and spun me around, then kissed me and put me down. I giggle like a little kid. I was just soo happy with him! I cant believe its been a year! I grabbed my bag and we went out to his car.

"So im guessing your not gonna tell me where we're going." I said.

"Nope!" He winked.

We drove for a while and then i knew where we were going.

"Your taking me to that park are you?" I asked/said with a smile.

"Maybe..." He laughed. We drove a little while longer and then pulled up to the park. We got out of the car, Dylan an i held hands and just started walking.

We took our time walking around the park. We talked, and walked and just enjoyed each others company. I just love this kinda time with him. Just us hanging out and relaxing it was nice. We came across the swing set and we both sat down on a swing. I slowly swung back and forth while Dylan swayed side to side pushing the dirt around with his feet. I decided to bring up the baby thing since we hadnt really fully just the two of us talk about it.

"So you want a little girl?" I asked, Dylan looked up from the ground and looked at me.

"Yes, you want a little boy?" He said

"Yes. Hehe but why a girl?" I asked

"Because she would be beautiful just like you. Why do you want a boy?"

"Because i know he would be just as handsome as you." We both smiled.

"Are you mad at me?" Dylan asked as he looked at the ground.

"No, why would i be mad at you Dylan?" He looked at the ground and didnt look up. I got up off my swing an stood in front of him, i squatted in front of him and lifted his head by his chin so he was looking at me. I looked him right in the eyes and asked him again. "Why would i be mad at you Dylan?"

"Because i didn't use a condom...."

"No im not mad. I love you, if i didnt love you and this happened... I would be mad at you... But i love you, im in love with you Dylan. Im not mad because i know that you wont leave me and we'll be in this together." I said, i saw a tear run down Dylan's cheek. I cupped his face with my hands and kissed him passionately. He kissed back, his hands moved to my cheeks and my hands went around his neck. My knees started to hurt from squatting so i knelt down on my knees. Dylan smiled in the kiss and then pulled back.

"Im im love with you too Rae." He said out of breath. I smiled and pecked his lips and then got back on the swing. We held hands and swung in unison for a while. Today was perfect so far, im going out with the guys of my dreams. Call me crazy but im madly in love with his hazel brown eyes, and his brown hair to match. I just love everything about him. Im glad that he's the dad of my child... Its weird to think that at the age of 17 but its true.

We finished swinging and walked back to the car. He said he had 1 more stop before we went home. I put on the country station and fell asleep.

"We're here" Dylan said as he lightly shook me awake. I looked up and i saw we were at the beach! I was soo happy, i loved going to the beach off season it was just something i liked. We walked onto the beach and down by the water. The breeze was cold on my cheeks but felt good after coming out of the warm car. We sat down and watched the sunset.

"Dylan today was perfect."

"Im glad" He said and then kissed my cheeks. After the sun set we got in the car and went home. Today was 100% perfect and i wouldnt change anything.

~Skipping to early November~

Today is my doctors appointment to see if we can tell the gender of the baby! Im kinda freaking out because i really want to know! Theres no promise that we will be able to tell day so fingers crossed we can. Im also getting kind of worried about the kids at school. Im starting to get a baby bump. Only a couple people know right now soo im getting nervous for more people to find out.

I stayed at Dylan's last night. We woke up late since the appointment was in the afternoon. Now im getting ready in the bathroom. I was wearing leggings, boots, and a tank top with a sweatshirt over it. I was braiding my hair in the bathroom when Dylan came in. He came up behind me and wrapped his arms around my stomach and put his head in the crock of my neck.

"Hello beautiful." He whispered in my ear.

"Hey hotshot." I giggled back.

"Dylan can you see my baby bump? And dont lie!" I asked. He took a step back and looked at me.

"Yes... But its the cutest baby bump i've ever seen." He smiled and hugged me. "Are you excited?" He asked

"Yes very! And i can tell you are." I said.

"I am!" He said.

~Skipping to the doctors~
I waiting to the doctor to come in when Dylan does probably the cutest thing ive ever since in my life. He puts his ear to my stomach and starts talking to the baby! Honestly my heart practically melted!

"Hey in there, this is your daddy talking to you. Your mommy and i arent sure if your a boy or a girl yet but we do know one thing... We both love you like crazy already. We cant wait to meet you little guy or little girl." And then he kissed my stomach. He came back up to me and kissed my cheek and then the doctor came in.

"Whos ready to see if we can see if your having a boy or a girl?" He asked excitedly.

"We are!" We both laughed.

"Okay here we go!" The doctor said. We went through the same routine as last time. He put the gooey stuff on my stomach and brought the scanner thing out and rolled it around on my stomach. Dylan and i had our eyes glued to the ultrasound screen.

"Theres the face." The doctor said, he took the measurements and kept going. "Okay so it looks like the baby is in a great position so are you ready to see what your having?"

"Yes!!" I said.

He moved the scanner around until he got a good angle. I was squeezing Dylan's hand and he was squeezing mine back.

"See that." The doctor said.

"Yeah... What does that mean?" I asked.

"Your having a GIRL!" He said!

"REALLY?!?!" Dylan and i said as the same time.

"Yes ma'am. From this angle if it was a boy you would know you are definitely having a girl. Congrats!" He said. "I'll let you two have a minute and i'll go schedule your next appointment."

I looked at Dylan and we were both soo excited. He kissed me and then started to talk.

"I love you Rae, more then anything. Dont ever forget that."

"I love you too Dyl. More then you'll ever know!" I said.

We left and know it was time to think of a good way to tell everyone we were having a girl!!
