My phone vibrates with a call from Trey and I pick it up.
"Yo" I whisper
"We outside" He says
"Aight I'm coming" I whisper
I end the call and try to move Ci without waking her, that doesn't work tho cause she immediately locks her legs with mine.
"Ci, come on get up" I say while shaking her
"Ugh what the fuck" She groans
"Wake up" I laugh
She opens her eyes and stares me down.
"Do share why I'm being woken up" She says
"Well you trapped me and I'm leaving" I say
"What time is it?" She mumbles
"It's after 10" I say
"Ok" She yawns
Aweee my baby so tired.
"I'll see you at school" I say while caressing her cheek
"Mhmm" She says
I lean down and kiss her softly.
"I love you" I say
"I love you too" She mumbles
Within seconds she's knocked again and I chuckle to myself. I make my way towards the window and open it before climbing out and going towards the roof. I make sure no ones around and I jump off, slowly landing on top of the car.
"Helloooo" I smirk
"Ready for training?" Chris smirks
"Of course, can't wait to demolish you again" I say
We're going to Chris' uncle house to do a little training, since the house is surrounded by a bunch of trees and secluded it's the best place to do it without getting spotted. We pull up to the mostly glass house and I grin.

We go into the house and greet his uncle, after a few minutes of talking he comes out with us.
"Aight first up Chris and Onika" He says
Chris may be faster than me but I'm stronger, our training always start one way and end another. He makes his way towards me and I jump, making him miss. Just as I was about to land he grabs my leg and swings me further out into the field, within seconds he's standing over me.
"Come on Nic, you gotta be quicker than that" He grins, his fangs on full display
I stand up and dust myself off, see what I mean? He turns around and starts talking to the others. I grab his shoulder and easily trip him, holding him to the ground.
"Don't lose concentration Chris" I smirk
Me and him go for a few more minutes while Trey and Bey go, and Robyn and Chris' uncle. Once it's me and Robyn I get into a stance good enough for what I was gonna do. Just as soon as we were about to start I hear something in the distance.
"Wait, shh" I say
Soon enough I feel the presence of whoever it is and I recognize it as another vampire. Who the fuck would be up here instead of us? We immediately get into position, ready to attack.
"Onikaaaa glad I could catch you" The girl says once she's in front of us
"Who are you?" I ask
"Veronica, I work for the counsel" She says

"Now what?" I ask
"We know about your girlfriend and the fact that she's a mortal" She says
"Ok and?" I say sarcastically
"You pose as a threat to the vampire community, all of you do" She says
"Now we suggest you break things off with your girlfriend before you drive yourself into telling her your identity" She adds
I glare at her while clenching my fists.
"Now now Onika don't get all bright eyed with me" She smirks
"I'll be watching" She adds
She starts leaving and before she can get too far, I'm right behind her. I slam her against a nearby tree as hard as I can, which is pretty hard considering my level of strengths.
"First off bitch you nor that fucking counsel scare me and we pose no threat to anything" I snap
"Wow you are strong, the counsel did warn me about that" She says
She grabs my neck and slams me backwards onto the ground, making me go through it a little. I groan but quickly recover.
"I'm just doing my job Onika" She says
She takes off again and I chase after her, I come up on the side of her and tackle her down, causing us to slide down this little hill. Before she can get up I climb on her and pin her down.
"I don't care what the counsel told you to do, don't go near my girlfriend, don't watch her, and don't go near her house, most importantly don't fucking touch her, I will not hesitate to kill you" I say with much venom in my voice
I stand up and kick her with everything in me, watching her fly across the field. I lift into the air, flying to Ciara's house as fast as I can. Once I get there I ease my way towards the window and grab on to the ledge, I watch her sleep a few seconds then sigh before opening her window. I carefully enter and stand next to her bed. I lean down and give her a long, soft kiss.
"I'm sorry for everything you're about to go through" I whisper
