Nicki POV
All day I've been getting the feeling that something bad is gonna happen and it's bugging me out. I keep a death grip on Ci's hand as I walk her to class, dreading every step.
"What's wrong?" She asks
"Nothing just thinking" I say, not wanting to worry her
I kiss her and watch her walk into the class, I sigh and go meet up with the others. Halfway through class the feeling becomes a itchy feeling in my soul and soon I pick up the presence of 3 other vampires.
"We have to find a way out of here" I whisper
"There's no camera in the west wing, I'll go pull the fire alarm" Bey says
Once she gets permission to leave she darts out the class, no more than a minute later the alarm is going off and the rest of us meet up with her.
"Ok they're definitely gone" Trey says
We go to her class and I try to pick up her scent, I follow the trail and scrunch my face up when I pick up the vampires scent, It leads to the bathroom window. Just as I'm about to jump out, a hand grips my shoulder tightly.
"Wooooh Onika slow down" The vampire says
"We can take you to her and you can watch her die" The other one laughs
I hiss at him and the one that's holding me pins my arm behind my back and squeezes my wrist tightly. I groan and they push us towards the door. We arrive at a building and into a big room filled with Vampires, I spot Ciara in the leaders grasp.
"You realize your wrong doings, correct?" He asks
"Yes sir" We say
"You all will watch her get drained then you will be beheaded, final words now" He says
"I'm sorry Ci, we never meant for this to happen" I say
I break away from her eyes when they start filling with tears.
"You forgot one thing though Mark, individually we have more skill, strength, and speed than half the people in here and combined we're a force to be reckoned with" I say
I give the others a slight nod and kick the guy holding me, sending him across the room. I slam his head through the ground and jab my heel through his neck, beheading him. I look over at the others and see that they've already handled the guys holding them. I walk over towards Mark and the army of people beside him.
"You gonna play it smart? Or have half your people ripped apart?" I ask
"I rather have few people die compared to a whole breed" He says
He snaps his fingers and everything begins, multiple bodies later we manage to receive minimal hits. Just as I jump on someone's shoulders a voice stops everything.
"HEY! EVERYBODY STOP THIS IS POINTLESS!" The half-breed yells
"Can y'all use logic for once?! If she really was gonna speak of us don't you think she woulda already did it? She's been given multiple opportunities to but yet she didn't" He says
I jump down and stare Mark in his eyes.
"So what's it gonna be Mark?" I ask
After what seems like years of silence, he sighs.
"Very well then, I suppose you do have a point Anthony, you can have your girlfriend Onika but we will be keeping tabs here and there" He says
He lets her go and she runs into my arms, I hug her tight enough without hurting her and rub her back softly.
"It's ok baby" I whisper in her ear
I pull back and wipe her tears as best as I can.
"Everything's gonna be fine" I say
"Mark you can't seriously be fine with this!" The same vampire that told the council yells
"Luke I said what I said, let it go, my choice is final" Mark says
"You're weak! What happened to doing what was best for us?!" Luke yells
"It's called logic and they pose no threat like we thought so stop acting like a needy bitch" Mark says
"You're all dismissed Onika" He adds
Just as I'm about to walk off, I feel Ci being snatched from me. I turn around furiously but that quickly fades when I see her being thrown into a mirror. The mirror shatters and she drops to the floor, eyes wide and body slightly shaking.
"OH MY GOSH CI!" Bey screams
They rush over to her and I watch in shock unable to move.
"LUKE WHAT THE FUCK!" Anthony yells
I cut my eyes at Luke who simply looks at me with a smirk.
"You're gonna regret that" I hiss lowly
I send him flying through multiple layers of walls, he groans and before he can get up I smash his head through the window. He falls to the floor and I kick him in his stomach.
"Get the fuck up bitch!" I yell
He rolls over onto his stomach and I grab his neck, slamming him through the floor. He lands onto the hard pavement underneath the level we were already on. I jump down, landing directly on his wrists causing him to scream. I bite through one of his wrists and firmly grab onto his head.
"You shoulda just kept your ass quiet" I mumble
Once I'm done with him I go back up to where the others are. I look over Ci and notice all the blood from her head, neck, and arms. I kneel down next to her and grab her hand.
"Nicki she's dying you have to change her or she's gone forever!" Trey says
Her breathing gets slower and slower and I still sit there not knowing how to feel.
"NICKI HURRY OR ILL DO IT DAMN!" Robyn yells
"Do you want me to?" I ask
She nods her head as best as she can and I bring her wrist up to my mouth.
As I bite into her wrist her breathing stills and body goes cold.
