Nicki POV
I watch as the color drains in her face, I slowly walk towards her and she immediately backs up.
"Stop" She whispers
"I can't believe this" She mumbles
Just as I open my mouth she starts yelling.
"I can't believe this! Wow I fell in love with a fucking vampire and she's probably gonna kill me!" She yells
I swiftly move over to her and cover her mouth.
"Keep your voice down" I say lowly
"I know you're confused and scared and have multiple questions but it's not what you think Ci" Trey says
She removes my hand from her mouth and raises her eyebrow.
"Bullshit, am I being punk'd like are y'all forreal?" She cries
"We're serious, but baby I swear we're not gonna hurt you and we never were" I say
"Yea right, you can have this locket back" She says while ripping it off
I feel my chest tighten and try to ignore the feeling building up in me.
"Wow, WOW! You know what none of this would be happening if I just stayed to myself like I did at my old school! I thought I could have friends and a girlfriend that I could trust but apparently I was wrong" She says
"I'm leaving, don't ever touch me, speak to me, show up at my house, or anywhere that involves me" She says
She heads for the door and I quickly grab her wrist.
"You can't leave" I say
"And why the fuck can't I?" She asks
"We don't know if anybody from the counsel heard, if they did it'll be dangerous for all of us including you and possibly your parents" Robyn says
A look of horror fills her face and I can't help but feel guilty.
"Ci you can't tell anybody, please, it'll get worse for all of us" I say
"Why shouldn't I? When I randomly disappear I'm sure questions will need answers, you know since you're all gonna kill me and possibly your fucking counsel" She yells
My fangs start to extend and I pin her against the wall.
"How many times I have to tell you that we're not gonna hurt you? You're really pissing me off you know that? Yo ass so damn stubborn that if them niggas know we told you, we wouldn't even be able to protect you!" I yell
She pushes me off her and paces the floor.
"You can't make me stay here" She says
"You're right I can't, so the choice is on you" I mumble
She walks out the room and once I hear the front door close it feels like everything comes crashing down. I didn't cry, given the fact that vampires don't cry, but I definitely felt the emotions. I lean against the wall and sigh.
"She's really gone isn't she?" I ask
"No coming back?" I mumble
"I think so Nic" Chris sighs
They all sit next to me and I just continue looking up at the ceiling.
