Recap on Last Chapter~
"...you guys were my friends from the beginning...you left me to die!! You ran away like a coward!! You ALL did!!" I shout and walk away trying to pass him.
"Where are you going?!" He says grabbing my shoulder.
"To find her." I say coldly.
"Her? WAIT THE HALF GHOUL GIRL?!" He says like I was insane.
"Yup. I'm leaving you guys. See you never!" I finally get by him and run into the city.
"Where are you..?"

Your POV

I enter my small apartment, feeling the cool breeze as I open my window to let fresh air in.
"It was my fault the girl had died..."
She must've had loved ones..
If only I could've done something to prevent what had happened...
Maybe I could've done something...
If I did why didn't I do anything but just stand there and watch?...
Was I seriously that weak...?
No. I know I'm better then that. I know I shouldn't blame myself. I know I did my best...
I did..right?
"Y/N welcome back from the stor-" I hear Touka say but stops when she sees a tear stain on my cheek.
"Y/n are you okay?! What happened while you were gone?" She said panicked.
I didn't realize I was crying.
Why was I crying?
"Y/n? Please answer me."
I snap back and turn to face her.
"I'm fine." I say smiling, giving her my reassuring smile.
"O-Okay. I'll be downstairs finishing up with the costumers.."
the door silently closed as she left the room.
"What would I ever do without this mask of mine...."
My smile disappeared.
The light in my eyes dimmed.
I sat on my bed, my head in my hands. I was thinking.
The boy saw my perspective of things.
I probably shouldn't have told him who I was.
At least I didn't give him my name.
I just hope he doesn't tell anyone that I was a half ghoul. Better yet the "SnowFlake" as they call me.
I got up from bed.
Might as well head back to work..
Wait..
WORK?! THE GROCERY BAGS!!
I started to panic.
IM SO STUPID! I LEFT THEM BY THE ALLEY OH MEH TOOTSIE ROLLS!
I face palm for my stupidity.
