Chapter 21

Devon's POV

I honestly wasn't expecting this baby shower.Everyone was here and I enjoyed it to the max.I was taken my surprise when I saw Harry with another girl, Im happy he has found someone to share his time with.It was sorta awkward having to open up all those presents with him and not Liam and that his girlfriend was there.My parents along with Liam's parents are gone and Liam left to the studio.Since I have nothing to do Im going to start decorating the nursery for the babies, Im calling the girls over to help me.While I wait I changed into some sweat and one of Liam's t shirts.I observed myself on the mirror my belly was growing non stop the babies are now 7 months I have two more months to go and be able to have my babies with me.I heard the door bell ring so I rushed down to open the door but it wasn't the girls it was someone else.She was tall,skinny,and really curly hair.

"Hi, how may I help you?"I gave her a warm smile and she smiled back.

"Hey erm Im looking for Devon?"She was looking for me, what for?I had no clue what for.

"Uh yea its me and you are?"I didn't want to sound rude but I was getting scared and to my luck the girl were finally here.They all got out the car and there faces dropped when they saw her

"Im Danielle, nice to meet you."She smiled at me again but not a nice smile a sort of evil smile.She turned around when she noticed the girls."Well I guess I'll be seeing you soon."She turned away bumping into Perrie and leaving.

"That was weird.Do you girls know her?"I asked the girls.They all looked at each other not wanting to saying anything.

"We have no clue who she is.But hey were here lets get started on that nursery."Victoria grabbed me by arm and led me into my house up the stairs down the hall to the babies room, the Perrie followed behind us.

So the girls and I first started with Cara's room.Victoria,Perrie and I started painting my baby girls room we went with the colour dark purple.It was an eternity for us to finish but we finally got the room painted we waited 3 hours for the paint to dry.While we waited I cooked some dinner for the girls and I.After we were done eating we went back upstairs to set up the crib and drawers along with other things for Cara.

"Finally were done."Perrie said sitting down on the couch.

"I know but we still have to finish Jason's nursery room too."Perrie and Victoria whined.

"You know girls I still would like to know what that girl wanted.She just showed up and left with out saying what she wanted."as soon as i finished my sentence Liam walked in through the door.

"What girl?"Liam asking walking in through the door.

"Um some girl names Danielle.She came a couple hours ago I don't know what for."As I approached Liam to hug him I could feel his muscles tense up.He looked over to the girls and the same as him the girls tensed up.I was missing something here.

"Oh really?I have no clue but hows the nursery going girls?"I noticed Liam changing the subject but I wasn't going to give up on this topic.

"Cara's room is done but we still have to finish Jason's room."Victoria said.

"Well you girls can leave it,Devon and I can finish it."He brought his arms around me and placed his hands on my belly.

"Awww okay well we will be leaving then.Take care guys. Oh and don't hurt the babies!"Victoria yelled out as she left behind Perrie.Now it was just Liam and I alone.I took Liam by the hand and guided him upstairs to see Cara's room.

"Wow baby Cara's nursery looks beautiful. You and the girls did a great job."I was happy he thought Cara's room was beautiful, in that instant one of the babies started kicking and Im pretty sure it was Cara because we were talking about her.

"You okay princess?"Liam asked noticing my face.

"Yea I think Cara just kicked.She knows were talking about her."He smiled at me and placed his hand on my belly to feel Cara kick.

We got started on Jason room.We painted it all light blue.While Liam worked on the paint I started setting up his crib.It didn't take me to long since we did the same with Cara's crib.The door bell downstairs rang so I quickly got up to get the door.

"Ill get it baby!"I told Liam as I walked out the door down the stairs. I saw Harry standing outside the door holding a whole bunch of stuff.

"Hey Harry.What are you doing here?"He held up all the baby stuff he had in his hands to tell me why he was here.While he had here I figured I could ask who this girl Danielle is.I dragged him into the kitchen along with all his things.

"Ouch thats my hand."Harry whined as I pulled him into the kitchen.

"Harry quit being a baby.Do you know who this Danielle girls is?"His face also dropped at the mention of this girls name.

"Umm I think Liam should be the one to tell you that."Lucky for Harry, Liam saved him from me asking further questions.

"Devon who's here?"Liam yelled from upstairs.I looked over to Harry tell him not to say anything so we could continue talking.

"Im here!"Harry yelled and ran up the stairs.Why couldn't anyone tell me who this girl is but then I remember it clicked. While we visited Karen, Liam's ex went to his house and he got so upset then Karen told me the whole story.

I walked back into the kitchen with two water bottles for Liam and Harry.I bum down because Liam and everyone else was hiding something for me.Liam and Harry both decided to send me down stairs while they finished Jason's room. I was getting really hungry so I ordered pizza.I sat on the couch in silence while I waited, and my phone started to ring.It was a number I didn't recognise.

"Hello?"I answered.I noticed Liam and Harry coming down the stairs.

"The person you love the most life's is coming to an end.Cherish every moment."I dropped my phone and felt my self drop as well.Last thing I remember is Liam and Harry yelling my name next to me.

I felt Liam's presence beside me as I woke up.My head felt heavy and my back hurt really bad.I noticed Harry next to me as well but his eyes were puffed up and red,he was crying.His face lit up when he saw me wake up, he rapped his arms around me.

"Are you okay?!"Harry and Liam both asked.

"Yea I'm okay its just that, that call left me speechless.I don't know who it was.They said the person I loved most life was coming to an end."That phone call caused me to faint, it took my by surprise.

"Its okay princess nothing is going to happen.Please get some rest."Liam got up from bed along with Harry to leave to rest.

"Liam can we talk?"He looked at me and walked over to me.Harry came back and kissed my forehead and left out the room.

"Whats wrong love?"Liam asked worriedly.

"Why do you get so tensed up when someone mentions Danielle's name.Your mum did tell me about her you know.I just don't get why everyone gets so nervous at the mention of that name."It was frustrating being left out of this and not know why everyone felt this way.

"Devon whatever mum told you yea it happened but I don't want to remember it anymore, Im here with you know and Im really happy with you.I love you."I understood he didn't want to talk about it, I loved Liam as well I just wasn't going to push it anymore.

"Its okay Liam, I love you too."I brought my lips close to him and kissed him.I love this guy and being with him makes me really happy and he's right no one else natters but us and the family we were about to start.Liam left me to rest and I felt much better we had that conversation.Its great to know we can talk and not hide anything from each other.
