Chapter 14

Devon's POV

Yesterdays dinner gathering was the best.Lou was surprised and happy to see his Eleanor, and the rest of us were happy for them to be together.Today I have an appointment with Dr.Leathers to check on the twins and to finally know there sex.Liam,Harry, and I invited the boys and the girls along to our appointment.I got up from bed leaving Liam asleep, I walked into the bathroom to take a shower and get ready.I was later done with my shower, Liam and everyone was ready and eating breakfast.I noticed everyone at the kitchen table except Harry.He was no where to be seen.Liam saw me as I approached them, he got up to get me some pancakes to eat.It was time to ahead to the doctors and still no Harry was to be seen.

"Liam?"I didn't know if I should as or not but I really want Harry to be there with us in the special moment as we get to find out what our children are going to be.

"Yes love? You okay?"his eyes were still focused on the road as he drove.

"Uh yes Im fine. Where is Harry?"I asked him.

"He said he had to do some stuff before the appointment but he said he'll make it."I really did hope he would make it.By the time we got to the clinic the whole clinic was full of fans and paparazzi's.Everyone was inside waiting for us to our luck security was close so we got in the clinic faster.Everyone was sitting around waiting for us.We took a seat next to the guys waiting to get called on.I was still worried that Harry worries wouldn't make it.

"Miss.Bello?"A nurse called out for me.Everyone got up with me following me into the the other side to the similar room I always visit when I come to my appointment.I as always knew what to do, the nurse left us all alone to get the doctor.Liam helped up on to the bed, I pulled my shirt revealing my huge tummy.Minutes later the door opened, I hoped it was Harry but I was wrong Dr.Leathers walked in.

"Wow we have a full house today."he said looking around,he smiled walking over to me."So today we found out the gender of your baby.Are you anxious to know what your having?"

"Yes we are very excited to know."Liam answered the doctors question.The doctor squirt blue gel on my stomach then locating the convex probe on my belly.The whole room was silent and then the heart beats of my babies were audible, it was the most beautiful sound ever and no matter how many times I came I will never get tired of the beatable sound of their hearts.

"Okay Devon you want to find out now?"Dr.Leathers asked smiling. I nodded my head answering his question, Victoria,Perrie,Eleanor and the boys came closer, like them I was anxious to find out.Harry was going to miss this important appointment of them all.

"Congratulations Devon baby A is a boy and baby B is a girl.Here you can see the boys private part and here is the girls private part."he pointed out every little detail of my babies.I was so happy I was having a baby boy an girl.Liam and everyone was so happy about the babies genders.

We left the hospital, everyone leaving there separate ways except Liam and I.I was happy but sad at the same time.Harry was no where to be seen, not a call or anything to let me know why he wasn't going to make it or asking what the gender of the babies are.He maybe had a good reason not to come or something but whatever it is I hope he knows its not making him any better of a father.I began to feel tired so I went upstairs and left Liam downstairs.I laid on my side and began to cry for no apparent reason.I felt Liam lay next to me putting his hand over me.

"Whats wrong baby?"I turned over to him and looked into his eyes.

"I don't know Liam.Im upset Harry didn't come to the appointment but then again I'm really happy about the babies."I was being completely honest I really didn't know why I was crying.

"Shhh its okay princess."Liam brought me closer into him closing the little space between us.He did something he had never done before he sang to me.

I figured it out.

I figured it out from black and white.

Seconds and hours.

Maybe they had to take some time.

I know how it goes.

I know how it goes from wrong and right.

Silence and sound.

Did they ever hold each other tight

Like us?

Did they ever fight

Like us?

The song was beautiful.I still had tears running down my face but some how I managed to fall asleep.
