Chapter 16

Devon's POV

I've been driving for an hour already, I had agreed to come to visit Anne with Harry but Harry decided to leave last night so I had to drive myself.I wanted to bring Liam along with me but he didn't want to because it'd be to awkward.Indeed he was right it'd be really awkward having Liam,Harry,Anne,Gemma and Me in one room just exchanging looks.I am really tired from driving and also because I woke up a little early to make in time to Anne's.I still had an hour left of a drive so I was close.The radio's music filled the car with music making me feel less lonely, a song came on and it wasn't familiar, the voices in the song where so familiar but the very first voice I recognised was Liam's it was the song ha had sang to me one night to help me fall asleep.By the time I arrived to Anne's the song was done, I really hadn't listened to the whole since but it was beautiful.I got out the door walking up to the door, before I could knock Harry had opened surprising me.

"Devon your here mum and Gemma are in the kitchen waiting for you."I walked in and waited for him to guide me to the kitchen he took me surprise by grabbing my hand and leading me to the kitchen.Anne and Gemma were sitting around the table drinking tea.Gemma's eyes caught my eyes and she smiled widely coming up to me bringing me into a tight hug, Anne had no idea what she was doing till she turned around to see me.

"Devon look at you, you look astonishing my dear.Oh my God can I feel?"Anne was so happy to see me along with Gemma.Anne placed her hand on my belly rubbing it making me smile and the babies happy because they instantly started to kick.Im pretty sure Anne felt it because her eyes lit up as the kicks increased.Gemma and Harry standing next to me smiled at each other.

"Gemma the babies are kicking you want to feel?"Anne asked Gemma.Like a kid on christmas morning Gemma's smile grew wider and she instantly placed her hand on my belly also feeling the babies kicks.Harry didn't wait for an invitation to feel the babies his hand was replaced by Anne's.Everyone had a smile on there faces including me.

Harry and Gemma went out to get something to eat while Anne and I conversed.She served me some yorkshire tea, my favourite giving me a good sensation and feeling inside my belly and once again the babies were kicking.Harry and Gemma were finally back with some food not because it felt weird to be left alone with Anne but because I was hungry.

"Devon how have you and the babies been?"Anne asked me as we all ate.

"Well I've been good the news about the babies was a big surprise but I have managed to get across everything. And for the twins they are in perfect conditions."I smiled widely at my achievement of getting across everything with or without Harry thanks to Liam.

"Im sure you weren't expecting that sweetie.Have you found out the gender of the babies yet?I asked Harry but he wanted you to tell me."Anne was anxious to find out what the babies were.

"Well we are having a boy and a girl."I said to Anne.

"Really Devon?Have you picked names?"Gemma asked something for the very first time since I got here she was nice to me when I got here but we really didn't talk much.

"Yea I surprised too I wanted boys but I guess I get one of each a baby girl and boy.Well I had talked to Harry about names and I came up with Cara Darcy for the girl and Hunter Jason for the boy."The names weren't all that good but I combined and played with some names I liked the way these names sounded they were weird and different but unique and one of a kind.

"They are beautiful love."Anne said cheerfully Im glad she liked them or maybe she didn't but at least she attempted to make me feel better about them.We finished dinner silently, it was getting dark outside and I didn't feel like driving home.

"Devon it's getting late you can stay the night here and leave tomorrow morning if you want."Anne asked me.

"Uh yea that would be nice I would love to thank you."I told Anne.Anne and Gemma each headed to there room leaving me and Harry in the living room.Unfortunately I had to stay with Harry in one room.Harry helped me upstairs to his room so I could lay down and get some rest.I laid back and watched Harry gather some blankets to lay down the floor.I decided to call Liam to let him know I'd be staying here.

This chapter is kinda crap but I hope you guys like it.I really haven't had the time to work on it but I'm trying my best.So I would like to know how your Christmas was so let know.Please vote and comment on you think.I will probably be updating again tonight.
