Chapter 24

Liam's POV

I was more than happy to finally be with my princess, it was just a couple of hours but it felt like an eternity to be apart from her.We stayed up late talking and talking about different things, when she said "Our Little Family" it was just perfect, it even sounded perfect.She kept saying forever,no one can do us apart, everything was just perfect and in that moment I got it I was going to propose to Devon.I had the idea before going to bed and I thought the very first thing I am going to do is going shopping for a engagement ring.

Devon,

Im going out to get some stuff.Please don't worry I promise I'll be back as soon as I can.I called the girls so they could come over and make you some company.I love you princess.

I went out to my Range Rover and headed the parking lot.I called Zayn on the way to make sure he was till up to meeting me at the Heming Jewellery store.

"Mate are you still meeting me?'I ask Zayne through the phone.

"Yea man Im already here make sure you come in through the back I had the store cleared out and closed so no one knows we are here."I was glad I had Zayn to help me with all of this.

"Thanks mate I'll be there in 10."I said to Zayn, I hung up and focuses on the road.

I parked at the back at the store, I killer the engine.I pulled up my hoodie and put my dark shades on.I got out the car and ran to the door.Zayn was waiting for me inside the store already looking around.

"Hey mate."I approached him and shacked his hand.

"So gentlemen what are we looking for today?"A lady in her mid 40's asked us.

"My friend here is looking for an engagement ring for his girlfriend."Zayn said to the woman behind the counter.

"You my fellow friends have come to the right place.Here we have the most precious engagement rings.Please take a look."I turned my look over the rings and yes they where beautiful rings.

"Look mate."Zayn pointed at a beautiful ring with an enormous diamond.

"Yes mate its that one.Can we please get that one."I pointed at the ring.

"Hmmm the diamond three stone ring.Excellent choice dear im sure your girlfriend will love it."She grabbed the ring from the display box and put it in its own little box inside a small bag.

"£6,250 please."I handed her my credit card.

"I hope she likes it mate."Zayn said patting my shoulder.

"I know man, hey I need Perrie to help me distract Devon while I set up a romantic date."I told Zayn.

"Yes mare of course I'll let Perrie know so we can her get out the house."The lady handed me my credit card and the bag the ring came in.Zayn and I headed out the store carefully not to get anyones attention.We both headed to each of our cars and went our separate ways.

I drove home anxious to get this day over with and just propose to her.I got home and the girls where with Devon and so where Louis,Niall and Harry, Zayn probably went home to see Perrie.I parked my car and I saw the boys walk out the house to my car.Harry,Niall and Louis were all standing in front if me giving me weird looks.

"What?"I asked them.

"Whats up with the mystery mate?"Niall asked wiggling his eye brows.

"Erm nothing."I said back to them making it obvious that there was something going on.

"Yea okay Li you can't lie to us you know."Lou said patting me on the back and walking off inside with the boys.I followed them inside and the first thing I smell is food.I walked over to Devon and kissed her, she was more relaxed than yesterday and I'm happy.

"Hey Li!"She hugged me and everyone aww in the room.I wrapper my arms around her as well except my arms couldn't fully wrap around her because of her big belly, tomorrow the twins are making eight months.We are so excited to finally have them with us.

Everyone was finally gone, it was just Devon and me.I went upstairs leaving Devon downstairs I grabbed a long and comfy duvet for both us to cuddle in.I guided her outside to the lake, we both dipper our feet in the warm water.It was mid May and the weather was nice.I brought my arm around Devon and brought her close to me.

"Li remember when we first met?"How could I ever forget that day I saw her walk into the studio in her crop top and her high wast skinny jeans she was beautiful.

"Of course I remember you looked astonishing."I turned to look at her and she was blushing.She would always blush even with the tiniest compliment.

"Aww Li, you weren't so bad looking either.Look at us now about ready to start a family and we are living happy with some ups and downs but overall happy."Once again the words our little family sent tingly sensations down my spine.

"I love you Devon."I turned to look at her eyes and she looked back.

"I love you too Li."She smiled leaning her head on my chest.

"Whoop"She yelled out.

"What whats wrong Devon!?"The babies are kicking tremendously.She grabbed my hand placing it on her belly so I could feel Cara and Jason's kicking.

"We love you too guys."Devon said to Cara and Jason.We stayed like this for a long time.It was getting dark outside and Devon was falling asleep.I got up and she sat there waiting for me to help her up but instead I picked her up an carried her inside.I walked upstairs with her in my arms, I laid her down on our mattress and cover her up.I kissed her forehead and laid next to her.I brought her closer to me feeling the rhythm of her heart.I began to feel my eyes drop I closed my eyes falling asleep next to my princess.
