General POV

"What the hell just happened?" Jack managed to get out as his eyes darted between Millie and Finn.

"Um..." Millie trailed off. She didn't know what to say. It was hard to explain.

"You're the long lost angel." Lacey breathed out as she took in the scene before her.

Finn gave Millie a confused look as he set her back down on the ground again.

"You never told us about your girlfriend, Finn." Jaeden said.

"Well... It happened a long time ago and it's a long story..." Finn didn't want to explain. He didn't feel like bringing up those hopeless nights and terrifying nightmares.

"But you guys are back together just like that?" Wyatt snapped his fingers.

"Pretty much..." Millie answered. Hell yeah she was back with him. She thought she lost all hope but here he shows up.

"Okay we'll give you some private time." Jack beckoned for everyone to leave Millie and Finn, including Maddie and Lacey.

"Okay... Well I'll see you later Millie..." Lacey gave a little wave to Millie,"And nice finally meeting you Finn..."

"You too." Finn gave her a small smile.

After everyone left, Millie and Finn sat on a bench together, fingers intertwined and smiles lighting up their  faces.

"How have you been?" Millie asked. She knew it was probably dumb to ask but she just wanted to know if he was in pain like her or completely opposite.

"I've been... Terrible. My life has gone to shit ever since you left it." Finn let his smile fall as long as his gaze.

"I'm so sorry, Finn. I've honestly been the same. Life has never been... The same." Millie looked up at the clouds that loomed above. The sky was a light blue.

"Well you seem like you had some good in the past three years. You have a strong connection with your friends as far as I can tell." Finn told her. He played with his snap back.

"Well Lace and Mads are different stories. No matter what you were still in my mind, day and night and that is never gonna change." Millie glanced at their fingers. She blushed as Finn traced her palms with his thumb.

"At least you got some happiness." Finn mumbled. He earned a chuckle from Millie.

"Damn... Finn don't you know?" She stopped and examined his expression. He looked confused but curious,"Happiness is whenever I'm with you... Fuck family, fuck friends... Finn, me being happy was with you only. I never have been happier in my whole life."

"Really?" Finn blushed. He didn't know that he meant that much to her.

"Yes, really. You changed who I am. It doesn't matter if it was in a good way or  a bad way. I am still in love with you after all these years. Never forget that." Millie wiped some tears trying to escape.

"Millie... I'm sorry... I wish I tried to find you sooner. I should've never gave up. I should've tried... I'm so-" Finn was interrupted by a pair of lips. They crashed onto his and he smiled into the kiss.

Millie let it linger for a few more seconds before she pulled away.

"I love you so much. I'm so fucking grateful that you're here..." Millie put her forehead against Finn's.

"I love you too, Millie. I'll love you till the day I die." Finn whispered as he kissed her.
