Sonadow - King and his slave

Part 11

In the meantime, while Shadow was locked in a dungeon, queen Amy was already excited about the return of her beloved king. She became even more happier when she saw how king Sonic rode with his horse in the back yard of the castle over to the horse stables. Amy made ​​a quick rush down the stairs and then she rushed to the horse stable yard. Young girl huffed in enthusiasm and as soon as she saw the king coming down from his horse's back, she rushed over to him.

"Sonic!!!" Amy screamed excitedly and captured Sonic in her deadly tight hug that made Sonic gasp for air. The young queen was surprisingly strong!

"Amy! I can't breath..!" Sonic gasped and tried to push the queen away from him but Amy only tightened her grip.

"Oh Sonic, my darling king! I'm so happy you're home again!" Amy giggled and tried to kiss Sonic's face. That's when Sonic managed to get Amy, with one quick move, to remove her grip. Amy looked disappointed because the hug had stopped so soon. Sonic on the other hand was panting due to lack of oxygen. After calming his breath Sonic turned to look at Amy who was looking at him with her big and sad green eyes. Sonic rolled his eyes slightly and pat Amy's head friendly. That made pink hedgehog girl purr happily and smile again.

"I missed you so much, my king," she purred. Sonic sighed and nodded. Amy smiled happily and hugged Sonic's arm as the king and the queen walked together back inside the castle. While walking Sonic looked around and waited for Shadow to appear from somewhere. However Sonic didn't see Shadow anywhere. That made king Sonic worried. And nervous.

"Amy, do you know where my slave is?" Sonic asked as he turned to look at the young queen. Amy stroked her king's hand gently and shaked her head, avoiding eye contact.

"No I don't, my darling king," Amy smoothly lied. Sonic looked at Amy with a bit skeptical look on his face. Amy looked at him and smiled sweetly. Maybe it was true that she didn't know where Shadow was..

After dinner, king Sonic began to look for Shadow. During the whole dinner time he was only thinking of his slave, and he was worried about him. He was not at all listening to Amy, who was talking to him almost the whole dining time. He was too deep in his own thoughts and worries. At the moment, king Sonic was walking toward the library hoping he could find Shadow. Also he wanted to shake off Amy, who was even more clingy than before. He knew that library was one place where Shadow liked to be. He, however, got disappointed because the library was empty. Shadow was nowhere to be seen. Sonic sighed sadly and he continued to search. The idea that Shadow had ran away crept into Sonic's mind, but he tried to shake off the thought quickly. Shadow couldn't just leave. Right? Sonic continued seaching his secret lover. Soon he arrived at his own study and he found miss Rouge from there cleaning up. The ivory bat flicked her ears slightly as she heard the voice of the opening door. As she turned she started to smile friendly.

"Oh hello, my king. Welcome back," she said friendly. Sonic nodded a little and looked around the room trying to see if Shadow was there. But once again, he got disappointed. The king sighed heavily.

"Is everything alright, my king?" Rouge asked carefully as she looked at the sad looking king. Sonic looked at her.

"Miss Rouge, do you know where my slave Shadow is..?" the miserable king asked.

"Hmm.. Now when when you mentioned him.. No I don't. I haven't seen him in a while.." Rouge said, looking slightly worried and thoughtful.

"Really? Oh.. I thought he would have been with you.." king Sonic said. Rouge shaked her head gently.

"I'm so sorry my king, but I don't have any ideas where could he possible be," she said. Sonic sighed slightly again. Where on Earth could Shadow be?

"Alright.. Thank you, Rouge. I keep looking.." he said and stepped out of the library leaving Rouge to continue her clean-up. Sonic closed the door behind himself and leaned against it. He closed his eyes and tried to think where Shadow could be. He was not in library and not with Rouge, which was really odd since Rouge and Shadow were really close friends. Sonic rubbed his chin slightly as he was thinking. Suddenly he heard running steps on the hallways.

"Sonikkuuuu!!!" Sonic's eyes shot open quickly as he heard the girly scream. He recognized right away that it was Amy. Sonic looked quickly around. He didn't even had time to see where Amy was coming for when he felt two arms around himself and a girl clinging on him again. Amy giggled happily and hugged her king tightly.

"I finally found you! I was looking for you everywhre! I have something I want to show you!" she said. Sonic looked at her with slightly annoyed look on his face.

"Amy, I don't have time now. I need to.. work," Sonic lied.

"Awww but you can work later! This is important! Please?" Amy looked at the king with big begging eyes.

"Can't that wait even a bit?" king asked. The girl shaked her head quickly. Sonic sighed once again.

"Alright then..." he said finally. Amy started to smile happily.

"Good! Follow me, my darling king!" She said and started to -literally- drag Sonic upstairs towards Amy's own chamber.

A few HOURS later, Sonic was walking towards his master bedroom with really annoyed and irritated look on his face. Amy's important issue that couldn't wait was just her showing him her new dresses for TWO HOURS! Sonic was very irritated now. He had wasted two hours of good time instead of looking for Shadow. Sonic was even more angrier as he remembered Amy's comment she had said when he had asked about Shadow again.

"I believe that he just ran away, my darling king," Amy had said earlier. That made king Sonic both mad and sad so he had just left the room leaving Amy to yell after him with no effort. Amy's comment had made Sonic even more determined. He wanted to find his lover. But still Sonic needed admit he was thinking about the same as Amy too. He didn't wanted to believe that was the truth but.. The thought of it was hunting him... Sonic quickly turned and walked towards the knights' training area. As soon as he saw knights he rushed towards the group of three. All the three knights bowed as soon as they saw their king. Sonic looked at them all.

"I have a task for you three," he said. A green crocodile in light green armor looked at the king.

"What is it, my king?" he asked slightly curiously.

"I want you three to go in the village and look for a red and black hedgehog," Sonic said. Now a purple chameleon turned to look at the king more and he lifted the visor of his dark purple helmet.

"Why do you want us to find this hedgehog, my king...?" purple knight asked.

"You don't need to think about it. I only want you three to make sure he has not left the castle or village," king said. Now a smaller knight, a bee in yellow armor, looked at king Sonic in wonder.

"Oh wow, is he important person, my king?" knight asked. Sonic felt his cheeks getting hot. He shaked his head quickly and looked at the knights.

"He's my slave. I only want you to find him. Come back as soon as you're ready and report about everything to me only. Understood?" The trio nodded and bowed again.

"As you wish, my king," purple one said again. Sonic nodded slightly and watched how his knights left.

"Sir Vector, sir Espio, sir Charmy.. I hope you can find him.." Sonic mumbled quietly to himself before he rushed back in the castle. If king Sonic only knew that his lover was closer than he could see...
