Sonadow - King and his slave

Part 22

"How long are we still going to wait, Blaze? King Sonic and king Mephiles can be in big trouble inside of that damn mansion!" Sir Knuckles yelled out. Blaze turned to look at the red knight with vexed look on her face and she quickly placed her hand in front of his mouth in attempt to make the male shut up.

"First of all you should stop yelling. We don't want that the enemy finds us," Blaze hissed quietly. Knuckles pushed her hand away and looked at her angrily now.

"What should I do then? Wait here and do nothing? No way, we need to do something!" he managed to say quietly. Blaze turned to look at the mansion again.

"We have been waiting for almost 30 minutes.." she said quietly, mostly to herself.

"I'm not going to wait for another 30 minutes, Blaze! We need to get inside of that mansion! Now!" Knuckles said, again with a bit louder tone.

"Hmph, fine. But you seriously need to stop yelling. Or do you really want to use those swords so badly that you have to lure the enemy towards us and put us all in danger?!" Blaze hissed and gave Knuckles an angry look before she started to sneak closer to Eggman's mansion. Knuckles started to follow the purple cat with really annoyed look on his face. He should have been in charge and not her, or at least that's what Knuckles thought about at the moment.. The knights followed their leaders quietly as they all sneaked closer to the mansion. Blaze moved close to the wall and leaned against it slightly and made her way towards the window. Knuckles followed her lead quietly just like the rest of the knights. As they reached the window Blaze carefully peeked inside the mansion.

"What do you see?" Knuckles whispered. Blaze looked around a bit more before she turned to look at Knuckles.

"There's five knights inside of this room. I have a plan but it means we need to split up into groups," she whispered.

"What's the plan?" Knuckles asked quietly.

"Let's split up into small groups and then get inside the mansion from different places. We defeat duke Eggman's knights and make sure they won't disturb us as we go and look for queen Amy, that slave and our kings," she explained quickly. Knuckles nodded a bit.

"Sounds good enough to me. Let's do it," he said. Blaze nodded too and gestured all the knights to come closer. The knights gathered closer under the window to also hear Blaze's plan. After telling the plan and making sure everyone understood their mission, Blaze and Knuckles sent group of knights around the mansion. Blaze and Knuckles and a few other knights stayed under this window, waiting for a chance to get inside the mansion.

At the meantime, queen Amy had managed to get the key from the floor and get out of the cell. She was running up the stairs, rushing out of the dungeon as fast as possible. She really didn't want to get caught now when the freedom was so close in her hands. Amy opened a big wooden door carefully and peeked outside even more carefully. The dark hallway and stairway were replaced with a little brighter, long hallway. Amy stepped out from the darkness and slowly closed the door. She looked around a bit in wonder as she walked rather quickly on the hallway, trying to find her way out of this place. It was odd to her that there was no one guarding the door of the dungeon. Soon Amy found another door and as she opened it she could see a new hallway again, this time with knights. But luckily there was only two of them. Amy looked at the knights and tried to think a way she could somehow sneak past them. The young queen scratched her head a little as she looked at the metallic robot knights.

"How on Earth can I get past them..?" Amy thought very quietly out loud and sighed slightly. The knights moved on the hallway now and Amy froze on her place. She noticed that she was holding her breath when the pair of knights started to walk towards her. Amy looked around quickly, trying to find a hiding place, just any hiding place that could hide her from the knights. She left the door open slightly as she rushed down the hallway but suddenly she felt how someone grabbed her wrist. Amy was just about to scream but then she felt how someone placed hand over her mouth. Amy felt how she was pulled into another room from the door she haven't even noticed on her way out. A door was closed after the mysterious character pulled her into the safety of this new room. Queen Amy started to struggle and soon the character, who actually had just saved her, let go of her and the young girl was able to move again. She turned around to see who had grabbed her like that with an angry look but after seeing who saved her a big smile rose on her lips.
