Sonadow - King and his slave

Part 3

Shadow didn't know how long he had already been sleeping, but when he suddenly woke up, he noticed that Rouge was looking at him with gentle smile. Shadow sat up quickly and looked at Rouge a little nervously and with embarrassed blush on his cheeks.

"Miss Rouge!" he shouted abashed. Rouge only looked at him and smiled.

"Did you slept well Shadow?" she asked friendly. Shadow was confused.

"You... You are not angry at me?" Shadow asked and looked at Rouge.

"Of course I'm not. I bet you were really tired because you felt asleep so fast. I was gone only a few minutes you know," Rouge said. Shadow was still confused and a bit embarrassed. In all the former places, where he had been a slave, had been much more stringent rules and restrictions. If Shadow would have fallen asleep at the time somewhere without permission, he would have get whipped or he would been punished for even more roughly. And, unfortunately, it was also happened to him. Shadow closed his eyes tightly and shivered a little when he remembered that.

"Is everything alright Shadow?" Rouge asked with a slightly worried voice. Shadow looked at her and nodded quietly.

"Yes.. I just remembered something what happened to me long time ago..."

"Do you wanna talk about it? It looks like it's bothering you..."

"No, thank you..." Shadow said and looked down. Rouge smiled a little.
"Alright then. But remember Shadow that you can trust me and you can come to talk to me when ever you want."

"Thank you Rouge..." Shadow said quietly and smiled really carefully to her.

"Your welcome. But now, I think you need a bath and some new clothes. That's king's orders as you heard. Just wait here while I put the bath ready to you and take those horrible clothes off. You don't need those anymore," Rouge said. Shadow blushed slightly.

"But.. Doesn't that mean that... you will see me.. naked?" he asked really embarrassed look on his face. Rouge looked at him and giggled a little.

"I understand. You are a little shy, right?" Rouge smiled. Shadow blushed more and nodded a little.

"Oh don't worry about it Shadow. I have got used to naked people. You see, I am queen's handmaiden and king's servants' attendant. Besides, I think you need a little care before you meet the king again."

"Well.. If you say so..." Shadow said. Rouge smiled and walked to the bathroom what was back of the room and behind the big door. Shadow still made sure that Rouge closed the door and then he began to take off his ragged clothes. He doesn't therefore had time to do more than just take his shirt off, when Rouge appeared back in the room. And when she saw Shadow's naked, whipped upper body, she looked a bit choked. Shadow turned to look at Rouge with a sad look. Rouge looked at Shadow's bad and painful-looking scars and scratches which he had on his back, chest, hands and stomach. Rouge walked slowly over to Shadow while still looking at his upper body.

"Now I understand you better Shadow..." she said a little sadly. Shadow only nodded to her quietly and turned to look at himself from the mirrow. He looked at his upper body sadly. In his body was not a single point, which would have been spared from whipping. The vision arose many emotions in him. Sadness, anger, bitterness, weakness, shame... Rouge put her hand gently on Shadow's shoulder and looked at him.

"You don't need ever suffer from anything like that again Shadow," she whispered. Shadow turned to look at her.

"You promise..?" he asked carefully. Rouge nodded decisively.

"I promise." Shadow sighed quietly in relief and smiled a little to Rouge.

"T-thank you Rouge," he said. Rouge smiled too a little and hugged him gently.

"Your welcome. But now, your bath is ready. You can take as long bath as you want while I find new clothes to you. The next time you look in the mirror, you will no longer recognize yourself!" she smiled. Shadow smiled a little more and nodded.

"Alright." Shadow walked to the bathroom slowly and closed the door. He turned to look at the room and smiled more again. The bathroom was bright and big. Shadow took off the rest of his clothes, and looked at a large bathtub. He tried the water with his hand and it felt wonderfully warm. He went to the bathtub and felt a burning pain in his body. Warm soapy water chervil his scars and scratches, but even though the pain was unbearable, he was going to enjoy the bath. Shadow had to hold back his tears, the pain was so excruciating. Any case he took a sponge and began to rub himself with it. Little by little the pain began to disappear and Shadow really started to enjoy the warm water on his skin. He felt himself clean, relaxed and strong. And he smiled happily with closed eyes, when Rouge came in the room with big towel and new clothes. The bat was a little confused but happy about that fact that Shadow was really enjoying the bath. When Shadow was done Rouge handed him a towel and new clothes and turned her look to another way. Shadow dried himself and dressed in clean clothes. Moments later, Shadow and Rouge looked at his reflection in the mirror and they both smiled.

"Oh my goodness Shadow! If I wouldn't know that you are a slave, I might even be mistaken to think that you are a prince. You look great!" Rouge said. Shadow smiled at her.

"Thank you Rouge," he said and admired himself in the mirrow one more time. After a moment of admiration, they left the room, and Rouge began to introduce places to him. They walked around the castle and Rouge showed to him almost every room and salon which were found in the castle. Even the dungeon and the knights' training hall she showed to Shadow. After the tour, Rouge and Shadow headed toward the great throne room. They were just coming in the throne room, when they heard an angry-sounding talk. They looked at each others in amazement and then they peeked in the room. They saw the king Sonic and the queen Amy. And they didn't looked so happy.

"By what right have you bought a new slave without asking anything from me?!" Queen Amy asked angrily.

"Let me remind you that I am the king here and I can buy a new slave if I want to!" king Sonic said angrily.
Queen Amy looked at him angrily and with irritated expression on her face.

"But I too have a right to be involved in making decisions!" she shouted.

"No, you don't! I am the king and I make decisions! You're just a little lady who I was forced to marry if I wanted to become a king!" Sonic shouted back. Amy looked choked and thunderstruck.

"How dare you to say that?!" she cried out angrily. Shadow looked at them with surprised and confused look on his face. This was his first time when he sees king Sonic so angry. Shadow turned to look at Rouge, who was still looking at the king and the queen with curious look on her face.

"Rouge, should we leave?" Shadow tried to say as quiet as possible. Rouge was just going to anwser when the queen noticed them close the door.

"Rouge?" Queen Amy looked at her own handmaiden. They had no other choice than enter in the room because they were in any case been caught for eavesdropping. Rouge and Shadow walked to them. Rouge curtsey to them and Shadow bowed quietly.

"Miss Rouge! Were you eavesdropping us?" Amy asked and looked at her. Rouge looked Shadow quickly and then the queen.

"Forgive me my queen. I was not meant to eavesdrop you. We just came here, and we heard your dispute," Rouge explained.

"Very well then. I believe you miss Rouge," queen said calmly. Then she turned to look at Shadow and her look turned angry again.

"And who is this?!" she asked. Shadow looked at her and took a step back.

"He's..." Rouge started but then king Sonic continued.

"He's my new slave Shadow," Sonic said and walked to Shadow. Shadow bowed to his king again and looked at him. Amy looked at Shadow and laughed dryly.

"Hah! That piece of smut? I do not believe he's good one. Sonic, my darling king, why on Earth you bought him?" Amy looked at Sonic questioningly. Sonic looked at her and then Shadow.

"I needed a new slave. And now," he said and smiled slightly to Shadow. Shadow felt slightly tingling on his skin when the king smiled at him and he smiled just a little back to his king.

"... I will show my slave his new room. So, forgive me my quick leaving, dear ladies. Come Shadow," Sonic said. Shadow nodded and started to follow his king. Amy and Rouge looked after them. Especially Amy kept her look on Shadow firmly...
