There's a question on my mind

The answer I hope to find

We use it every day

"Honey, I'm home" we say

What is HOME anyway?

Maybe it's a person, locked up in your heart

Who is very kind and very smart

Who makes you feel better about who you are

Who makes you feel like a shiny star.

Perhaps it's a place, where you are never cold

If you are so young or very old

If you are in trouble, it's where you can hide

Right on the front or deep inside.

At night it's where you can sleep

Safe and sound and very deep.

Well I think it's a feeling, you even could have it in jail

It's a feeling you want to feel after you fail

It's a feeling you feel if you're under a wing

It's a feeling you feel if you have a safe country and a brave king.

It's a feeling full of love and trust

You must feel that once. You must.

Whatever it is, it's something we all need

It's a special, unique feeling. It is indeed.

Whenever you find your home hold it tight

So it won't fly away like a kite

And you don't have to live against gloom and fright.

Age: 14, Place: Home?land

Maybe what you need to know for this is that I have two nationalities. I am bilingual. I was raised with a bit of both cultures. Most people say, even now, that I have best of both worlds....Well in a way that is true.

But it effected me in a way that I never felt like I belonged to either of the two groups. Like I was alone and not understood.

Now after I changed countries and met other half-half people I know that even they are not like me. That even they are different. Even my Brother is different than me in that aspect. We are all a "special case"...... I guess I am still working on that one.

Do you guys have the same issue??

P.S.: If you pay attention you will see how I mentioned the at the time political turbulence in there..
