When life just tells lies,
When you can't find an answer in all seven skies;
When you look in the mirror and watch your soul,
Realizing that there is a big black hole.
When all your memories just melt,
When you don't know how you just felt.
You thought that you had everything,
You didn't know what life could bring;
You can't see what you want and what you need,
You need someone who can help you lead.
You think "Life isn't easy as it seems",
Then you discover something called dreams.
Where the stars shine like the moon,
Although you know that everything ends soon.
Where you can imagine what it would be like to touch the sky,
Where suddenly someone comes to dry up your tears when you cry
Where you can see your favorite color and sing your favorite song,
Where time is meaningless and the day is just so long.
Where every feeling is so true,
So here's what you have to do:
Close your eyes you don't have to see,
Imagine life how you want it to be;
You just need feelings as big as the sea.
Without pain and tears. You will be free.
So believe, feel and dream. It's just like one, two, three.

BAM!! So there is my first official poem!
Date: 2009, Age at the time : 13. Place: Arabic land.
I would say as a kid I had a big imagination. I had a lot of imaginary friends even till 6th grade. :,D This makes me sound like a loser..
Looking back I think it was my way of escaping a society, where I didn't feel accepted.
So the situation behind that was that I had a fight with my dad. I felt frustrated and misunderstood. Like a normal 13 year old.
