The New Challenge 06.2013

Who we are?

What we have done?

How can we shine like a star?

How can we reach the sun?

Where should we begin?

In life, how do we keep our grin?

This school has opened for us,

Its doors and its heart.

Your good influence is a big plus;

It has changed us from the start.

We're leaving you all, that fills me with sorrow;

But there's hope of seeing you, in the near morrow.

The past two years we have focused on our studies;

Tried to find our way.

We have gained a bunch of buddies.

It was fun at the end of the day.

Now the key is in our hands,

To make our future, to accomplish our plans.

Every one of us here

Has his own story.

Let's go without fear

To build our future in glory.

Not all our dreams may come true;

But shining will those which do...

The time has come,

For you to behold!

All of us, not some

Before we all get old!

So here we are all in green

Here we are all on the screen

Age :16, Place: Germany.

I guess this one doesn't really need an explanation. It's my graduation poem.

After I moved to Germany I continued school in an Arabic school. The English teacher there was really nice. At some point I showed her all of my poems and she commented them and encouraged me to keep writing.

Anyway, I also recited this at our graduation ceremony with a PowerPoint presentation and all that. So I was obliged to mention the school and what it has done for us and all that stuff.... ;)

Yeah, so that is all for now guys. Unfortunately the journey ends here. I have no complete poems left. A couple of birthday poems for my brother and my aunt. Do you wanna see those too??

After school, I started collage (I'm studying physics, if anyone is interested) and didn't really have the time to think and analyze what's going on in my head to write poems.

But maybe I will get back into it soon. I have already received a couple of good comment from you guys. So maybe it'll encourage me to pick it up again.......
