Chapter 26

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

A month has passed since the mission and I've finally finished learning about magic. Once I was done Noah and I went back to training with other people to learn how to use bows and axes but there wasn't much more to learn. Eventually Herobrine called us back to the throne room. I headed over with Noah and awaited the news hoping for another mission. Team Crafted messed up and now they'll pay the price.

Once I arrived at the throne room with Noah we headed halfway down the carpet and bowed as usual. Then Herobrine spoke "I have another mission for you two, they chose their new king to be Jason. I want you to once again capture him but beware they've tripled the security. I want you to head out as soon as possible and get an idea of what security measures you'll be dealing with. Once you have enough information come back here to make a plan which I'll approve." he ordered.

"Yes sir." Noah and I said at the same time.

"You're dismissed." he finished. I quickly changed into a better outfit for fighting incase we encountered anyone and grabbed my sword as well as a map of the castle. I headed down to the kitchen to grab some food and water before packing everything into my backpack and heading to Noah's room. I quickly knocked on the door and called "You ready?".

"One second" he called back. A few moments later he came out of the room with his backpack "Okay I'm ready" he said.

"That was seven seconds not one" I said grinning

"Close enough" he said rolling his eyes playfully. We decided to teleport into the woods a few hundred blocks away. Once we teleported I immediately heard voices. I quickly turned invisible and Noah scurried up the nearest tree. I saw several guards walking past.

"I swear I head something teleport." One of the guards exclaimed.

"Uh huh let's just continue on" Another one replied. That was close. Once the guards were far enough away Noah and I began to make our way towards the castle on top of the trees. Once we were close enough I took out a pair of binoculars and took a look. There were many guards surrounding the castle walls. I looked inside some windows with my binoculars as well and found a lot of guards inside as well.

Herobrine wasn't kidding when he said the tripled the security. Noah and I decided it would be best if we split up and mapped out the castles defenses. I took the right side and he took the left. I pulled out my map as well as a pen I always left in the bag and began to observe the defenses.

The first thing I noticed were Guards patrolling the castle walls which I quickly marked on the map. I noticed they also had Guards strategically placed with bows. After marking down where they were I used my binoculars to try to get a good look at the defenses inside the castle. All I was able to find out was that guards stood outside every door in the castle and window, though it didn't look like they were guarding the vents and that guards patrolled the hallways rather frequently.

I headed back to Our meeting point. It seemed he had been waiting for a bit and we teleported back to the fortress. After combining the defenses we had noted on our maps onto one map we made a plan and headed over to the throne room to get it approved but instead got some new information. As Noah and I walked in Herobrine started to give us some additional tasks.

"According to my sources the right hand man of the king from the Lava Kingdom is visiting to help make plans to find the previous kings, I want you to capture him as well he should be residing in the guest room. He will also be bringing maps of the nether I want you to bring them back with you or burn it, whichever is easier" He finished, after telling him our plan and adding on how we would get the other person we headed to bed. Tommorow will be a big day.

*Seto P.O.V.*

Mitch and Jerome managed to contact a king from another kingdom who was apparently close friends with them and they had agreed to come over and help. The person coming was Rob who was a very close friend of Preston who's the king of the Lava kingdom. After assuring them that everything would be safe they planned for Rob to come over tommorow. Apparently they had already mapped a good amount of the nether and know a few points of interest.
