Chapter 27

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

        I woke up at five am this morning, after getting ready for the long and exciting day ahead I raced to Noahs' room. After banging on the door about 10 times he finally opened the door. "You ready?" I asked.

        "Almost give me a minute" he said obviously tired. After two minutes and thirty-two seconds he finally came back out.

        "That was 2 minutes and 32 seconds" I said with a grin. He just rolled his eyes at me and started to walk down the hallway. "You excited?!?" I asked.

        He just looked at me, rolled his eyes and responded "Sure". Then added "I don't see how you can be so hyper at five thirty in the morning" he said.       

         I flashed him a grin and responded "What's not to be excited about! Were going on a mission! We get to leave the nether for a day and do something different."       

         "Okay then" he said. Once we arrived at the throne room the guards opened up the two massive doors and we walked in as usual, bowed and stood up again.

        "Do you have everything you need for the mission?" he asked.

        "Yes sir" I said with a grin.

        "Ok then just remember don't fail or there will be consequences" he said.

        "We won't" I said still extremely hyper.

        "Alright, you're dismissed" he finished. We began to walk out and decided to teleport a thousand blocks away from the castle since there was guards patrolling the area near the castle.

        "Lets go" Noah said before teleporting us to the forest. It was early morning and the sun hadn't even risen yet. They're going to pay for what they've decided. As the walk continued on I began to lose my hyperness and slowed down to Noahs' speed. "Have you finally calmed down" he said wearing an amused expression on his face.

        "Yeah, walking is so boring" I whined.

         "Well we're almost there then we just need to sneak past the guards and get into the vents again. We need to be careful we don't know if the vents are rigged or not so I'll go first okay?" he said. I nodded and we continued walking in silence. As we neared the castle I used my magic to turn both me and Noah invisible and we climbed to the top of the trees. In silence we made our way towards the castle and climbed the walls to where the vent was. I turned around to make sure no one was watching us while Noah opened the vent and slipped inside. Once it was clear I entered as well and closed the vent off again. Suddenly I had an idea

        "Hey Noah" I whispered.

        "What?" he responded quietly.

        "Do you still have the recording device?" I asked.

        "Yeah, why?" he responded.

         "We could record the meeting and know what they're talking about" I said.

        "I guess we'll head there first then" he finished before continuing to crawl through the vents. Once we got to the section of vent that lead to the meeting room Noah stopped me and told me to wait for him. Once he came back we continued searching for the two rooms where both the guest and the king would be by night. We managed to find the guest room first marking it down on a map so we could get back to it later.        

        We then checked to see if Jason was using the huge bedroom like the others had done when they became king. Sure enough all his stuff had been moved to the room. "So we need to be quiet when we grab them or the guards will notice the ruckus." Noah reminded me I nodded and we headed back to the thicker section of the vent to eat lunch.

        After lunch I decided to head to one of the vents that lead to the front of the castle so I could see when the guest arrived. After what seemed like an eternity I saw several horses come into the courtyard. Using my binoculars I zoomed in until I saw the target. He was wearing a light blue hoodie with black pants. Once they arrived at the door someone answered it and he was brought in. I headed over to Noah to tell him the news finding he had fallen asleep in the vent. I shook him awake making sure to cover his mouth so he wouldn't scream or something. His eyes opened quickly and for a second he began to panic until he realized it was me. I took my hand off his mouth and told him

        "The target has arrived, the meeting should start soon." he nodded and turned on the device so we could hear the meeting. Eventually it started.
