Chapter 45

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

        Its been five days since Seto told us he was coming. To be honest it was pretty boring, for the most part we just practiced PvP. Preston, Rob and Vikk have been talking to Lachlan through the door, unfortunately they can't actually talk to him face to face because Herobrine could get Lachlan to kill them. From what I've over heard the four of them are planning on leaving to build their own castle together, once they get the potions of course.

        It was a beautiful day outside and I had nothing else to do so I decided I would go on a walk. I went down to the training room where Noah was most likely. Sure enough when I opened the door he was practicing his techniques on a wooden dummy. "Hey Noah!" I yelled so he would hear me above the massacre of the wooden dummy. He stopped attacking it for a second and turned to me.

        "Hey (Y/N) want to fight?" Noah asked.

        "Sorry, not in the mood. Is it okay if I go on a walk? It's a beautiful day outside" I asked hoping he would say yes.

        "(Y/N) we both know you are wanted dead by quite a few powerful people. I don't think its safe for you to go on a walk by yourself-" Noah started but I cut him off.

        "Noah we've trained together for years, you know how good at PvP I am and on top of that I've mastered all the magic I can. I'm not some little girl who can't defend herself Noah. It'll only be like a 20 minute walk" I stated

        "I know you're not some helpless little girl (Y/N) but its dangerous and if you di-"

        I gave him the puppy dog eyes and said "Pwease?" Like a small child would do. He sighed and tried to leave the room but I blocked him "Pretty Pwease?" I asked once again.

        "Ugh, fine but be careful okay? If anything happens open a mind link with me."

        "YES! THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU" I yelled.

        "MY EARS" Noah screamed. "DON'T GO TO FAR" Noah yelled.

        "DON'T WORRY I WON'T" I yelled back before heading out of the training room and towards the back door of the castle. I had been able to see a path that led into the woods from my window. Once I reached the path I headed down it DUH. It was a nice walk the trees blocked most of the sun but let enough through that it was still warm. You could hear the birds chirping and could see the bright, colorful flowers blooming.

        As I continued down the path I noticed a dirt path branching off the main one. It seemed to have been made from being stepped on a lot. Wanting to see where the main path went before this new path I continued down the path I had started on until I reached a beautiful lake. I sat down by the edge but suddenly I heard footsteps behind me. I quickly turned around to be met by three familiar faces it took me a moment but I remembered them. "Liz? Jess? Mel?" I asked shocked by their sudden appearance. I hadn't seen them in so long as much as I hate to admit it they were my first friends.

        They didn't respond instead Liz lunged towards me her weapon in hand, I easily rolled out of the way and stood up. "Hey (Y/N) long time no see" Liz said.

        "Never knew you were a traitor, I thought you'd be a good person, but then again the same was with Noah. You're both traitors and you'll both pay" Mel said venom dripping from her voice. She quickly ran forward and attempted to cut off my head but I teleported behind her and kicked her in the back making her fall to the ground.

        "Did Herobrine even explain what happened?" I asked in a monotone voice. I didn't want to fight them, they were my first friends, but I have a prophecy to fulfill I can't just let myself die because I don't want to kill the people who once were my friends.

        "Yes, he did actually I can't believe you would just run away with Noah. You're such a wimp" Jess said angrily. "You abandoned us, we thought you'd stay with us in the fortress. Be a good friend but no you run away with Noah to the overworld as if we were nothing to you"

        "Ah, so he lied to you then" I said dodging Jess's attack.

        "You're the liar here and we all know it" Mel retorted.

        "How about I tell you the truth, when Noah and I failed a mission we came back to report to him. He seemed pretty calm and collected at the moment. He said it was fine" Liz tried to bring her blade down onto my head but I easily stepped to the side and tripped her casually as though it was normal "When I woke up I was being dragged into the torture room, he tortured me for hours before leaving me to bleed to death. Somehow Noah found me" Jess lunged forward and tried to half heartedly stab me, her hands were trembling "He teleported me back to the overworld because he knew he couldn't get help in the nether, if I had stayed I would have bled to death" I finished.

"That doesn't mean anything, you're lying and even if you're not, a missions a mission. Plus we wouldn't want to end up like you anyway." Mel spat. I put on my poker face to appear as though I didn't care but on the inside there was a storm of emotions. I felt hurt, depressed, BETRAYED.
