Chapter 14

*(Y/N) P.O.V.*

After helping Seto with making potions for a while in silence I finally spoke up. "Hey Seto, what day is it?" I asked curious if I had missed the first day of school or not.

"Today's Wednesday, why?" He answered.

"Just wondering" I said sadly, so I had missed the first day of school. We sat in silence for a few more minutes before Seto spoke up.

"Is it because of school?" He asked. I just nodded. "Well then you shouldn't be upset, school doesn't start until this Friday, you just missed the testing to see what grade you're supposed to be in. As far as I know Amber is going to take you in tomorrow" Seto finished.

"Really?!" I exclaimed.

Seto chuckled "Yes, actually why don't you go talk to Amber, we're almost done here and she's going to be staying with you during school to protect you anyway, you should atleast get to know her" I nodded before bolting out the doors, I only got a few feet away from his room when I realized I didn't know where to find Amber and rushed back.

"Where can I find Amber?" I questioned peeking through the doorway.

"You know where to find Ashley right?" He asked, I simply nodded "Go to her and she'll take you" he said, his lips curved upwards into a smile. I ran off once again, this time knowing where I was going.

Within a few minutes I reached the hospital wing and sure enough Ashley was behind the desk reading a book. "Ashley!" I yelled. She looked up from her book before sliding a bookmark into place and shutting the book.

"Hey (Y/N)! What do you need?" She asked getting up from her chair.

"Seto told me you could take me to see Amber" I said excitedly.

"Sure follow me" she said with a smile before beginning to walk out of the hospital wing. She led me down multiple hallways into an area of the castle I had never seen. I quickly lost track of how we got here meaning I would have to ask her to guide me if I wanted to come here again. Eventually she stopped at a wooden door and knocked.

"Who is it" A voice that I recognized to be Ambers called.

"Its Ashley, (Y/N) wants to talk to you" She called. I could hear footsteps approaching the door before Amber finally opened the door.

"Hey (Y/N)"

~Le Time Skip~

We talked for a few hours until Ashley came to get me for dinner. "Don't forget to be ready by ten tomorrow (Y/N)!" Amber called after me.

"I won't!" I called back before following Ashley to the dining room. Dinner passed by in a blur and before I knew it I was in my bedroom drifting to sleep.

I woke up to my alarm clock blaring, I looked over at my nightstand where it stood to see it was nine o'clock.

I jumped out of bed before rushing over to my closet to grab my uniform before rushing into the bathroom. I took a quick shower before changing into my uniform. Then I brushed my teeth and combed my hair before rushing downstairs to the dining room. The guys were all there eating. Ian was the first to notice me

"Hey (Y/N) you excited for school?" he asked. I nodded eagerly before sitting down and eating my breakfast.The guys occasionally asked me questions while carrying on with their own conversations. Before I knew it Amber showed up.

"You ready to go (Y/N)?" She asked kindly. I nodded before jumping out of my seat and rushing over to her. Once we were outside the front gates of the castle I began to talk with Amber.

"Do I need to bring my backpack?" I asked nervous that I may be forgetting something.

"No, today is just testing to figure out what grade you're in" Amber responded. As we continued walking I noticed Amber was carrying a sword in a sheathe. I decided not to question it though.

Not much longer later we arrived at the school, it was a decently large, two story brick building. It felt as though I had butterflies in my stomach as we entered through the front doors but oddly enough there were no other kids. Amber must of noticed because she said.

"You're the only one testing today (Y/N), you'll meet other kids your age tomorrow" I just nodded. She guided me into the office where the principle greeted us and gave me a test to take. It wasn't very difficult just basic stuff I had learned from my family before they, well you know.

In no time I finished the test and Amber guided me back to the castle. On the way back there were more people in the streets and we gained a few stares before we made it back. The day seemed to speed by until it was night time again. I was nervous, even more nervous than I had been today. I guess we'll just have to sleep it off and see how tomorrow goes.
