tyler's mind kept him wide awake. as the others lay peacefully in bed, sound asleep. tyler was staring at the ceiling. thoughts so loud it was like he could actually hear them, or maybe he really did.

he turned to his side, squeezing his eyes shut as he pulled the blanket up to his chin. trying his best to tell himself to go to sleep.

a familiar pain came from tyler's leg as he felt like someone just cut it deeply. he opened his eyes once more to see some old friends. the people.

they were standing at the end of his bed, only seeing their piercing eyes as they all stared at tyler. he felt paralyzed as they began to whisper.

tyler felt his mouth go dry as he stared in disbelief at the figures that used to follow him around when he was 10 years old. his eyes began to tear up.

"no." he whispered. they stared at him, continuing to whisper. the voices getting louder, tyler covered his ears.

"GO AWAY!" he shrieked as he sat up. he kicked the covers off of him as he began to cry. "GO AWAY GO AWAY GO AWAY!"

all three girls were up, staring at at tyler with concerned looks. melanie was the first to quickly spring up and walk towards tyler's bed.

"ty?" she asked. "what's happening?" she reached out for him.

in tyler's vision, it was a long cold arm coming from the people. he panicked as the voices got louder. "DONT TOUCH ME!" he slapped her arm out of the way. she gasped as she jumped back, her eyes tearing up as she held the sore spot on her arm.

"GO PLEASE GO." tyler choked on his tears as he began to hyperventilate. the girls quickly got a camp administrator as quick as possible.

tyler stared out of the car window, his eyes extremely puffy.

his mother was driving, the music playing softly. "it's only for a week ty." she said. tyler sighed at the thought of leaving his new friends. he turned and looked at his mother.

"mom?" he said. she turned the wheel, keeping her eyes on the road. "yeah ty?" she asked.

"i really hate myself."

tyler buried his face in his hands as he tried to calm himself down. his mother looked at him with sad eyes.

"tyler joseph don't you dare talk like that." she said. "it is not your fault, you are a good boy." tyler began to sniff to his mothers words.

they pulled back into their driveway, one in which tyler hasn't seen in a bit. he slowly walked out of the car, lazily closing the door behind him. most of his energy was gone from his long night, which he doesn't remember most of.

he walked into the house as he felt the cool air of the air conditioner and a familiar scent hit him. he was home. it was still pretty early in the morning, a little before 7.

tyler's mom set down his luggage on the couch. "tyler honey go relax it's still early. if you need anything let me know." she smiled.

he looked at the long staircase, leading up into the darkness of the upstairs. he creepy vibe made him move towards his mom.

"can i just stay with you?" he asked. she smiled, wrapping her arms around him. "of course. you wanna watch some tv?" she asked. tyler nodded.

❥❥❥

"really?" josh asked, his eyes looking disappointed. the three girls and him were all sitting at a table together during breakfast.

"is he okay?" he asked. "he's fine now." melanie said, taking a sip of her milk. "he's at home though." josh raised his eyebrows. "for how long?" melanie shrugged.

"dunno, they pushed us back to our cabin so we didn't get to say good by or anything." they all sat in silence for a bit. the girls feeling more disturbed. they've never seen anything like that before, and it coming from someone like tyler, just made them feel upset.
