Chapter 10: BrothaHood & Femme Fatale

For the very first time in history, sobrang aga ko dumating sa school. Sabi kasi ni Rence kailangan namin pumasok ng maaga para sa pag announce ng mga pangalan namin as candidates for this year's student council. Dumadami na yung mga students sa school, kinakabahan nako.

Wow si Julian. Pumasok ng ganito kaaga? Nananaginip parin ata ako.

"Jared kinakabahan ako. Hindi ako sure dito sa pinasok natin."

"Ako din kinakabahan pero gusto ko bigyan ng chance to."

"Lagi nga akong late tapos tatakbo pako sa student council! Wow diba?"

"Eh nagawa mo nga pumasok ng maaga ngayon eh. Malay mo magbago ka."

"Hinde! Una't huling beses ko na tong papasok ng maaga! HINDEEEE!"

"Easy lang kayo Julian at Jared. Hindi naman porket tatakbo tayo as student council members ay ibig sabihin babaguhin na natin ang sarili natin. Chill lang. We will just serve for the school, we will not let our positions define us. Okay ba?" said Gino with a big smile.

"Yes. Yes. Tama yung sinabi ni Gino. OA mo lang talaga Julian"

"Hindi ako OA! Kinakabahan lang talaga ako!"

Tinawag na kami ni Sir Philip papuntang court. Ito na. Ito na talaga yung announcement of candidates. Mas lalo akong kinabahan ng makita ko yung mga highschool students na naka pila at naka harap sa amin. Nalungkot din ako ng onti nang makita ko sa kabilang side sina Kylie, sila nga pala yung makakalaban namin sa student council.

Sinimulan na ni Sir Philip yung ceremony. Sir Philip introduced "The BrothaHood Partylist" and "The Femme Fatale Partylist". Pinakilala niya din isa isa ang mga candidates from the both party list. He started from the President and ended with the OPIO of both party list. He even mentioned that we are all from Section 2.

"Students of San Martin, I hope you vote wiseley. Let there be change. Don't be afraid to speak up, route for who you want. Vote for who you want! And to our candidates, congratulations! You are very brave to take this opportunity. Not everyone will take this. So thankyou, congratulation and good day to you. We will see you again at "The Big Day"." announced by Sir Philip.

Yun lang pala yun. Pinakaba ko lang sarili ko putek! Akala ko naman kasi may speech agad kami na ibibigay. Bago kami bumalik ng room nag usap usap muna kami ng mga girls from the Femme Fatale party list. We talked how shocked we were to see us in this situation. 

"Yeah yeah yeah! BrothaHood! Waddup?" pang aasar ni Kylie.

"Okay maganda na nga pangalan nyo. Sige na Hahaha" I laughed at Kylie.

"Nakakalungkot naman, kayo pa kalaban namin." said by Ashley.

"We will crush you hard! Like OMG watch out for me!" pagbabanta ni Rhian sa amin.

"Good luck satin. Babalik din ang lahat sa normal diba?" I asked the girls.

"Yup. Magiging friendly competion lang to. Good luck boys!" Chandria replied to my question.

Today was the only day for campaigning. Nag pagawa pala kagabi si Gino ng mga fliers at posters namin. Nagpagawa din naman si Rence ng mga bilog na pamapaypay at may nakalagay na "A vote for me is a vote for you, BrothaHood party to represent you!" Ang cool diba! Nag room to room lang kami buong araw. Excused kami sa mga classes! Oh yeah!

After namin mag room to room, pumunta naman kami sa Canteen para mag campaign. Unfortunately, nandoon din ang Femme Fatale. May mga ballpens sila na ibinibigay. Meron din silang calendar na may nakasulat na "Don't just talk about change, make change happen! Vote for Femme Fatale!" Katulong nila sa pag campaign si Kevin. So Femme Fatale si Kevin? Ayos lang. That's just one vote. Pero every vote counts diba? I'm confused.
