-Hiccup PoV-

Everyone was in the Clubhouse discussing our next attack on Viggo and the Dragon Hunters. Well, almost. The twins were arguing about Thor knows what. Snotlout was watching them trying not to pay attention to the task at hand.

Fishlegs, Heather, Astrid, and I all managed to come up with a plan of attack without their help. It actually wasn't that hard.

It's not like Snotlout or the twins are going to grow a brain anytime soon.

"GUYS!" I yelled to get their attention. They turned their heads slowly. Ruff and Tuff smiled innocently. "We've got a plan. Meet us in the air."

I left the Clubhouse and mounted Toothless.

-Astrid PoV-

As Hiccup left the Clubhouse, the three trouble makers looked at us.

"When did we come up with a plan?" Snotlout asked.

"Just grab your gear and meet us in the air." I said before leaving to mount Stormfly.

After a few minutes we left the Edge.

"So what is this amazing plan of yours?" Snotlout asked flying behind Hiccup and I. Hookfang was reluctant to go, but somehow Hiccup convinced the Monstrous Nightmare.

"Simple," Hiccup began. "This is only a recon mission. We need to check out Viggo's base to see if anything has changed. If we can, we will capture a hunter to interrogate."

"I could've come up with that." Snotlout said with a smirk.

"No you couldn't!" I yelled back at him. I smiled at Hiccup, but it quickly faded when Viggo's base came into view.

It was too dark out for them to see us fly in. We landed in the middle of the woods. "Stay here, bud." Hiccup told Toothless. "The same goes for the rest of you. If anything goes wrong, you'll know."

The dragons all agreed in their own way before either falling asleep or just laying down.

"Let's go." I said leading the way to the base. We all kept silent as we came near. The hunters walked by minding their own business. Viggo walked up to two of those who were passing by.

The gang and I hid behind a few bushes as they talked on the gravel path that lead to the base of the Dragon Hunters.

"Is the trap set up for the riders?" Viggo asked the man on the right.

"What trap?" Tuffnut asked just before Ruff slapped her hand over his mouth.

"Yes, sir. They will never see it coming." The hunter on the left handed Viggo a small blue circular object.

"Good, because they're here now." Viggo turned and faced the bushes where we were hiding. He threw the blue object at us and smirked.

It landed a yard away from us. Blue gas began to pour out filling the air around us. The last thing I remember was watching Hiccup hit the ground.
